Chapter 2- Abie's Story

Abie's story

"Hurry up!" Mum yelled up the stairs as I rushed to quickly finish off my make-up, "done" I whispered as I put down the eye-shaddow brush. I had gone for the natural look and I had a navy and white stripy block dress with some navy heels, I had curled my hair and was about to go out. "Where are we going again?" I asked as I walked down the stairs with my bag "I told you we're going out!" She stated as I sighed "Where's out?" I asked "Out!" She repeated as she ushered me out of the door and into her car.

"Mum, I know you've never told me but wat's this tattoo?" I asked as she drove around town "I told you not to worry, you'll find out later!" She muttered still concentrating on the road, I looked down at my wrist where I had 'love' was written in black italics, I don't remember getting it! I starred out the window at the dark sky "Where are we going?" I asked again to fill the awkward silence "To a family party" Mum snapped as I groaned "No mum! You know I hate family party's!" I moaned as mum sighed "For god sake grow up! Besides Harry will be there" She stated as I smilled a bit..

"Ohh is someone smiling over they're boyfriend?" Mum teased as I tutted and chuckled.

I stood on the dance floor with my 5 year old cousin, Amy, dancing, who cares it's a party! I haven't seen Harry yet but I'm sure he'll be here soon, footlose came on the DJ system causing me and my cousin to dance stupidly to the upbeat music. I felt some arms snake around my waist, lift me up and twirl me around causing me to scream "Harry!" I laughed as he put me back down and kissed my cheek, Amy came running over and us three stood in a cirle dancing "I have to show you something after" Harry's warm breath told me as I nodded and smiled, footlose swiftly came to an end as we all made our way off the dance floor. Amy ran over to my aunt and Harry interwined our fingers and he lead me outside, the music was getting quieter and quieter. He lead me under the stars over to a park.

We both sat on one swing each slowly rocking forwards and backwards still holding hands "So what did you want to show me?" I asked as Harry smilled "This" He said as he pointed to the starlight sky, I smilled as I lent my head on the chain holding up the swing "It's beautiful" I stated as I heard Harry give a short chuckle. "And this" He continued as he bought out a small box, I looked at it as he opened the lid to reveal a silver necklace with a 'H' on the end and a diamond on it "Wow" I managed to say as a smile spread across his face, he got up off his swing and walked to the back of mine, put the necklace around my neck and fastened it "Its beautiful!" I stated as I looked down at it, it was honestly beautiful!

"Should we go for a stroll?" Harry asked as I nodded and stood up "Come on then slow coach!" I mocked as Harry chuckled and stood up "At least I can run" He muttered "Ohh I can run boy!" I protested as he looked at me "Come on then, lets race!" Harry dared as I crossed my arms "Ok come on then!" I replied as we both walked down the hill and onto a feild "First one to that tree wins!" Hary stated as I nodded, flicked my heels off and held my dress by the sides "Go!" I shouted as we both ran for our lifes, I couldn't see Harry infront of me which ment I was winning "No!" I shouted as Harry ran infront of me, I jumped onto his back as he gave me a piggy back to the end, stumbeling everywhere, we collapsed on the floor laughing. "I won!" I decleared as Harry shook his head "Nope, I had to give you a lift!" He said panting as I laughed "Should've let me win styles" I joked as he chuckled "Abie? Harry?" We heard Anne call as Harry jumped up, grabbed my hand and helped me up "Time to go in, don't wreck your dress" Harry joked.

"Were here mum" Harry said as Anne nodded "Hi Mrs Styles" I said polietly as Anne chuckled "How many times do I have to tell you? I'm Anne not Mrs Styles, I've known you for 6 years Abie!" Anne chuckled as I smilled and I heard Harry snicker next to me "Well the DJ's playing some of your type of music" Anne stated as Harry dragged me inside as 'Whistle baby' by Flo Rida came on. Harry made me dance for a bit whilst he sang, thinking no one could hear "nice singing" I joked, well complemented, it was really good!

"Thanks, nice mud on your dress" Harry winked as I tutted and chuckled. We walked off the dance floor and over to our parents "Do you two want a drink?" Mum asked as we nodded "What do you two want?" She asked as Harry smirked "Wkd?" He asked as I chuckled and nodded. Mum soon came back with two blue WKD's, two beers and a couple of sourz shots. I looked at her confused "Come on guys it's a party!" Mum yelled as me and Harry chuckled, I do love my mum!

Me and Harry had soon finished the beer's, WKD's and had both had one shot "Come on!" I dared as we both grabbed another shot "3, 2, 1" I counted as we both threw the drink back, the sourness made my jaw go funny making me pull a funny face, clearly amusing most people! 'Scream' By usher came on and me and Harry both soon ran onto the dance floor

If you wanna scream" Me and Harry both sang really loudly whilst dancing, causing attention to be drawn to us, but us being slightly tipsy we didn't care! The whole floor had kind of cleared leaving me and Harry to dance even worse taking up all of the space, the song drew to an end and me and Harry started laughing, Payphone came on and me and Harry stumbled off the floor back over to mum and Anne who were applauding us "Brilliant dancing" Anne said sarcasticly causing my mum to laugh "You two are absolutly the maddest couple I've ever seen!" Mum pointed out as I smiled at Harry who was smiling back at me. "Hey guys" Anne shouted, yep she was drunk! "What?" I asked as Anne looked catiously at mum and they nodded "Do you two want to go on a trip together?" Mum asked as we both nodded,

I felt Harry's arm on my hip "Great we'll fly you out to California on Friday" Anne informed us as I looked at Harry confused, he had a huge grin on his face, Friday's a bit soon isn't it?
