I huffed and pushed my hair out of my face. Another shitty day in the realm of the mortals. (A/N: aq b21laxCZJKfd ~Eris) I closed and locked my front door, pushing my flame colored hair out of my face. I was wearing a crop top with a sweater over it, a mini skirt and some fishnets held up by a garter belt. My black boots were lifted up at the heel, giving me a few more inches to my oh so small height of 5'2.

I was walking towards my job, General Manager of the Devil's Brood Bar & Grill, when I noticed a weird black cat strolling down the sidewalk like it owned the place

I was walking towards my job, General Manager of the Devil's Brood Bar & Grill, when I noticed a weird black cat strolling down the sidewalk like it owned the place. I clicked my tongue softly, trying to get its attention. It turned to look at me and I tilted my head, noticing beautiful unearthly golden stripes across its face along with little black horns.

I walked closer and knelt offering my hand, "You're a peculiar little kitty aren't you?" I slowly started to pet the top of its head, being careful around the horns

I walked closer and knelt offering my hand, "You're a peculiar little kitty aren't you?" I slowly started to pet the top of its head, being careful around the horns. "Here, lets take you with me, it'll be a lot safer, Satan only knows what these heathens around here do to strays." I carefully lifted the cat up, holding him cradled in my arms, and pet his tummy softly, taking note that it was a male cat. I walked closer to the doors of the bar, unlocking it with a quiet incantation rather than a key. This was no place for humans, and we prefer it stays that way. The cat, who I dubbed 'King' for the moment seemed to be looking around uninterested. I set the cat down once the doors were closed, letting it roam wherever it please within the Bar. I let my horns grow out, now that I was in a comfortable zone.
"Gooooooood morning!" I called as I flipped on all the lights, those who slept at the bar having nowhere else to go or just felt safer here groaned.
"Jeez Am, this is a bar, why does it open so early?" Phoenix groaned at me from the corner, while he stretched and rubbed his eyes.
