Some Fun Time

After that romantic and a not so expected evening Amelia and Austin didn't see each other even once even though their bedrooms were right next to each other' s.
It was about two in the morning and Amelia still couldn't sleep. She kept thinking of her moment with Austin. She'd never thought that she'd kiss him. God knows what had happened to her.
She tossed and turned in her bed trying to figure out her feelings. At times she felt something more than that of friendship. What's happening she thought. She got up suddenly and decieded to drink some water. But oh her jug was empty. She looked at Austin's door and wondered what he was doing. She took the jug and walked down the stairs and to the kitchen.
She filled her jug with warm water and sat on the platform filling a glass of water. She sat there in the dark drinking slowly as she thought of the same thing again and again and wondered whether Austin was sleeping or not.
" You really like sitting there don't you? " cams Kevin's amused voice. Amelia startled  and the glass fell from her hand but stopped midair. Kevin had caught it just in time.
The only light that came in the kitchen was from the window that is from the lights outside . Amelia could now clearly see his face.
" Wh what are you doing here? " she says stuttering.
" That's what I should ask shouldn't I?" asks smirking.
" And you really love smirking don't you? " she asks raising her eyebrow. By now she was used to Kevin's abnormal behaviour and his way of coming secretly.
" You're really something. " he says as he puts a strand of hair behind her ear. She looks at his hand surprised .
He laughed and sat next to her on the platform.
" So you and my brother? " he asks.
" What about us?" she asks.
" Oh don't act all innocent I saw you in the afternoon in the kitchen right here. " he says turning to her.
" Ya so what it's none of your business. " she says looking away.
" Well I can give you some very good love advice. From what I'm guessing you both are trying to figure out your feelings and are totally confused. " he says and she looks at him.
" I've never tried but I've heard of it and so I'd like if you tried this" he says.
" Close your eyes for a while and keep your mind calm and then think of Austin and what you really think of him. Just forget everything else and concentrate on him. " she says.
She laughs and exhales.
" You sound like some experienced old lady. " she says.
" I do? " he asks laughing and them Amelia closes her eyes concentrating.
She saw Austin standing in front of her .
" Amelia? " came a voice and it was no doubt Austin's she thought. She opened her eyes and right there in front of her at some distance stood Austin looking confused as his glance fell on Kevin sitting right next to her.
" Austin? " she says surprised.
He switched on the kitchen lights and the other two got off from the platform.
" I guess I should go I don't wannna be a third wheeler do I? Oh and Amelia just try doing that thing again and let me know ." he says patting her on the shoulder and then he left.
" What was he doing here? " Austin asks coming closer.
" Well I just came down to fill my jug and he came here too and then we were just talking. "
" And what thing did he tell you go try about? " he asked.
" Oh it's nothing just some stupid thing to try out. " she says.
" Okay if you say so. "
So Umm about what happened in the tree house... " Amelia says..
" About that I think it's not the right time to talk . We'll talk tomorrow." he says shrugging.
" Okay then. " she says exhaling as if all that time she'd been holding it up.
They hugged each other lightly and them went up and into their room. The next day was really going to be interesting.

The next morning all were present at the table eating their breakfast silently. Samantha looked around questioningly.
" Hey kids what's the matter with you'll? Why are you'll so quiet haven't you'll still introduced yourselves? " she asks applying butter on the bread.
" No no mom it's nothing like that." Austin says and again they all fall silent. Amelia kept glancing at Austin as he'd not even looked at her once or greeted her. She felt confused and scared. Kevin on the other hand was busy listening to music on his headphones and sometimes lazily glanced at the other two.
Samantha was looking at all of them with confusion and she knew something had happened at home when she wasn't there. If this silence continued the entire day long she would ask them what the matter was and figure it out, but for now she would stay away from it all.
After breakfast Samantha packed her lunch and set off for her office. Amelia went to the garden the place she always went when she felt sad and confused.
She sat on the swing as it went back and forth and she stared at a bird on the wall.
" Hey pretty lady what's the matter? Didn't you try out the thing I told you yesterday? " came a voice.
She didn't jump in surprise this time.
Just looked at him.
" No Kevin this time I won't get scared of your sudden arrival. " she says.
" I did try and I think that I like Austin that way. "
" Then what's the problem? " he asks as he sits beside her on the swing.
" The problem is that last night I told Austin that we'd talk about our feelings this morning and sort out everything. But now since breakfast he hasn't even talked to me hell look at me. It's as if he's avoiding me. " she says.
" Hmm so that's the problem. Well the only solution to this is that you go , approach him and talk to him straight away. Or you'll never be able to talk and figure out your feelings for him. "
She looked at him searching his eyes.
" Are you doing some human physcology course or what? " she asks.
" No but I'm doing an architectural course though. " he says and she rolls her eyes.
" I don't know why I keep talking with you so much about my personal life." she says shaking her head.
" Because I'm a handsome boy with a God like brain. " he says patting himself.
" Oh now don't appreciate yourself so much. " she says patting him and they both laugh.
" Amelia? " came a voice from the garden door.
Amelia and Kevin turned towards the door.
" Austin I -"but he interrupted her.
He looked at Amelia's hand on Kevin's shoulder and Amelia followed his gaze to her hand .She quickly removed it and got up and so did Kevin.
" I just came here to tell you that there is a parcel for you which I've kept in your bedroom so just see what it is. Okay? " he says and before Amelia can answer he leaves.
" Austin?! " she shouts but no answer.
She shrugs her shoulders and looks at Kevin..
" You saw ? " she asks.
" I did . Well do like I told you before . " he says. She nods.
Then silence fell onto them.
" Come with me. " Kevin says breaking the silence. Amelia looks at him quickly confused.
" Where to? " she asks.
" Just come. " he says holding her hand and pulling her towards the door leading to the gate.
" Where are you taking me? Are you going to kidnap? Or kill me and then dig me up inside a hole or -" but she stopped when she stood before the beautiful car . It was a red open convertible the same she's seen yesterday.
" Wow! " she says laughing.
" You like it? " he asks.
" Like it? No I love it! " she says.
" Is it yours? " she asks.
" Duh! I mean I bought it here. "
" Ohh. " she says still not believing what she was seeing.
Kevin took out the car key and tapped on a button and door on the passenger seat opened upwards.
Amelia widened her eyes.
" Come on sit. " he says.
She slowly walks to the car and sits down.
The door closes and then Kevin sits in.
He starts the car and zooms out of the parking and onto the road .
It was just hilarious for Amelia to ride in an open car in such cold weather. The snow was still falling but lightly. Snow had been removed from the roads but the trees and houses were full of snow. It was an amazing weather.
" You wanna stand? " he asks looking at her.
" Are you sure about that? " she asks.
" Yes why not. Just don't fall cause I won't come to save you. " he says laughing and she hits him hard on the shoulder .
She stands up slowly and breathes the cold air in and slowly closes her eyes. She loved it. All of it. But what she saw surprised her. With her eyes closed am image formed in front of her.
It was Austin. He was standing with his hands folded and looking at her smiling.
" You really enjoying? " he asks and she nods. I mean she felt as if she was.
He came closer to her and kissed her on her cheek.
While Amelia was enjoying herself Kevin glanced at Amelia and his look stopped at her face. She looked so beautiful and calm. Her long hair with a little snow on it flew behind and her long cloak too. Slowly she left her arms and spread them and smiled even more and so did he.
" Take a picture it will last longer and we'll be safer too! " she says her eyes still closed.
Kevin's face immediately turns red and he looks back at the road focusing there intently.
" Okay okay now no need to pretend , I'm seriously telling you take a pic! " she says.
He shook his head and removed his phone taking a picture.
He felt a new feeling creep into him.
He felt something that he'd
felt before but  that feeling again was impossible because it had been burned down forever. But before he could figure it out she opened her eyes and looked at him.
" I saw Austin! " she says .
" What where? " he asks coming out of his trance.
" My inward eye. I mean I saw him when I closed my eyes and he was talking to me and laughing too!" she says laughing.
" Woah .. So that's make things quite clear then? " he say looking at her.
" Yes Ofcourse. " she says.
" Okay now tell me where do you want to go now? " he asks.
" Umm how about going snow skating? " she asks.
He nods. She sits down and tells him the direction to the snow rink.
Soon they pull of in front of a tall building. Amelia shows him the way inside and they reach the ticket booth.
" Woah that's a big rink! " he says as he sees from the glass.
" No it's not that big." she says laughing and Kevin looks at her his eyes widened.
" What ? Don't tell me that you haven't ice skated before!" she says.
" Yes Um no actually but I -"
" Two tickets please." Amelia says to the attendant as she gives her some money.
"Hey what why are you buying tickets?" he says.
" You just said that you've done it before!" she says taking the tickets.
" Well ya but I haven't actually. I don't know how to! " he says slightly embarrassed.
" It's okay you don't need to worry when I'm with you. I'm an ice skating expert. " she says laughing.
" No doubt about that but I don't want. I feel sick can we go somewhere else? " he asks.
" Hey mister stop it! First of all, you asked me where I wanted to go and now when I brought you here you're turning back! And second I never knew that a boy like you would be such a soft puppy. " she says laughing.
" Hey what did you say! " he says coming closer to her and narrowing his eyes at her.
" I said that you're a soft puppy. "
" No I'm not! "
" Prove it. Come with me and skate. " she says folding her hands.
"Fine!" he says going back .
" Okay then. " says Amelia smirking and doing a victory dance.
Kevin removed his phone and took a picture of her as she jumped up high.
She got down and looked at him shaking her head.
She took Kevin's hand and pulled him towards the skates stand.
They wore them and then got in.
Amelia stepped into the rink and held out her hand to Kevin.
Kevin looked at it raising his eyebrows.
" Come on sof-"
But before she could complete her words Kevin took hold of her hand and stepped in too.
" That's the spirit boy!" she says laughing and he rolls his eyes.
I pull him slightly ahead and he tightens his hand around mine.
" Okay now lift your right leg up slightly like this. " she says lifting hers.
" Good.. Now come on forward. Yes that's better. Hmm oh slowly. " she says as he almost falls.
" Okay now keep this leg down and lift the other and do the same. " she says and Kevin does it.
" Good. Now look at me ." she says.
She swiftly skates around him as he looks at her in wonder.
Then she comes back to him and holds his hand again.
" Okay you got it? " she asks and he nods.
They both do it together and slowly. Kevin's starts picking up the pace and now he's able to do it well.
" Wow you're not that bad at this! " she says laughing as he moves along swiftjt. She looks at the other people around and he looks at her. Her face shone with happiness and it was so beautiful. A strand of her hair came out and dangled at the side of her face. He suddenly felt the urge to put it behind her ear. He lifted his hand and was about to touch it when Amelia suddenly quickened her pace and he was pulled along. He lost his balance and fell down. Amelia immediately stopped and turned towards.
" Oh my God! Kevin! Are you okay? " she asks helping him stand.
" I think I've sprained my ankle really bad and I don't I'll be able to move it! " he says making a sad face.
" What oh no !" she says.
Then she looks at him with concern and knits her eyebrows when his sad face slowly changes to that of laughter.
He starts laughing like maniac and clutches his stomach.
" What's so funny about this? " she asks.
" This is funny! " he says getting up quickly.
" What you don't have a sprain?! " she asks her face with fuming with anger as she realized that she had been fooled.
" You! " she says holding her hand in a punch.
" Woah Woah karate girl slow down! " he says laughing lightly now.
" You should have seen your face that time! " he says laughing some more.
" Enough! " she says pushing him hard so he falls down again . She takes her phone out and takes a picture of him as he falls down his eyes wide and this time it was Amelia's turn to laugh.
" Hey not fair!" he says.
He gets up slowly again.
He moves towrads her but she moves away quickly and lifts her right leg up and skates swiftly. Soon she forgets that Kevin's running behind her. She skates all around swiftly and with large steps.
Kevin stops and takes a picture of the beautiful scene in front of her. She lifts her leg higher like a ballerina and twirls around lots of times and he widens his eyes. She looked really amazing.
A few people stopped by to look at her as she swiftly twirled and skated about.
" Well now it's my turn Amelia to show you the real me! " he says.
He calls a young boy and gives him his phone and whispers something in his ears and the boy nods laughing.
Kevin lifts his leg and skates faster towards Amelia. She opens her eyes and sees him skating along with her fast and swiftly. He takes her hand and twirls her round and dances with her.
" Kevin - what how -you -" she says in surprise.
" Shh don't speak a word just continue with me.." he says.
She nods and he turns her round and round.
" What did you think that I don't know ice skating?! Well I'm a champion at it too.! " he says.
They both hold their hands and skate.
" Then why did you act as if you didn't know it at all? " she asks.
" So that I could experience learning something from you and so that I could watch you do your best! " he says. She raises her eyeband shakez her head.
After about another hour of skating they stopped by Pizza Hut. After lunch they waited in the car thinking what to do next.
" What should we do now? " he asks.
" Go home? " she asks.
" What so early. Are you bored? " he asks.
" No I'm having alot of fun. It's just that we've been away from home for so long. "
" So it's okay. Anyway I've messaged aunty that we won't be home before night. "he says.
She looks at him her hands up in air with her mouth open.
" Atleast let's take Austin along !" she says.
" Oh I would have done that but he's gone to his friend's house to help him with something and he won't be home before evening. " Kevin says.
" Ohh! "she says sadly."
" Let's go skiing!"Kevin exclaims.
" Nope not today. Next time when Austin's Thers. I've promised him that we'll do skiing together. " she says.
" Ohh okay. How about movie? " he asks.
" Hmm that's fine. Come on! "she says telling the address.
They soon reach the theater and decieded to watch Avengers Endgame.
They order some popcorn. Sit onto their seats and get ready for the movie.
