Twelve

Taehyung sent the letters he had written and mailed them where he always did. He sat down on the couch and plaid with his animals wiping his tears away.

"Don't worry, daddy will be back soon." He said to his dogs and cats

They all smiled (you know how animals smile uwu), Taehyung giggled and walked to his door opening it when he heard a knock.

"Oh, hi guys. You can come in but Jungkookie may be back soon."

They looked at each other and nodded then came in and sat down.

"Tae, you know how much Jungkook loved you. And how much we do...but he's not coming back." Namjoon said softly

"Well maybe not right now, but he will."

"No, Taehyung. He's not...we all saw it...saw him." Jimin said holding his hand

Three years prior again

All of them went out and enjoyed the time they were having. Jungkook and Taehyung swung their hands back and forth lovingly while looking at each other with a smile. All was fine until there were screams.

Men in black clothing came out screaming, one of them pointed to Taehyung and Jungkook. The other pulled out his gun and was about to shoot Taehyung when Jungkook pushed him out of the way and got shot right on the spot.

Taehyung screamed and held Jungkook in his arms while the men were being arrested since there were already cops close to them beforehand.

"J-Jungkook, it'll be okay. You'll be fine, okay?" Taehyung said sobbing while holding his hand

"I know little lion, but just incase...know I love you. You'll get through this, I promise."

"N-No! Why're you saying this?! You're going to live...you have too!"

Jungkook caressed Taehyung's cheek lovingly and wiped away his tear

"Baby, hush. It'll be okay, don't cry. I'll be fine, just you wait." He held his hand

"But Kookie, don't leave me. My bunny, you're mine. You're my Kookie, you can't leave me. Take me with you at least. Please...do it for me.."

"How I wish I could, but I can't my love. Promise me you'll stay strong, and promise you won't let go. For me."

Taehyung nodded and kissed Jungkook's forehead.

"I promise."

Jungkook smiled softly and kissed Taehyung on his lips, Jungkook's eyes rolled back and he stopped.

Taehyung pulled away and gasped, he started screaming in between cries.

"Help!! Someone help!"

Jungkook was immediately rushed to the hospital, Taehyung and the others waited outside the room when the doctor came out with his head lowered.

Taehyung screamed loudly and fell to the ground holding himself.

"My baby! You're lying do something!!"

"Sir I'm so-"

"Go." Namjoon whispered to the doctor, the doctor nodded and immediately left

They all held Taehyung who was a crying mess.

He never fully did recover, and in fact still believed Jungkook was alive.

Taehyung shivered and shrugged off the memories.

"You know how much he loves games."

The others looked at each other and realized it would be best if they talked about something else.

"Yes we know Taehyung, this is all just a game. Now, why don't we go out and get some food. We'll message Kookie so he can join us when he comes back. Okay?" Hoseok said

Taehyung nodded and wiped away tears that had formed, he got up and walked outside with the others then headed to a restaurant.
