Careless Whisper

Yuuto rushed back to get his own books, since he had gotten out of his own way to help Ren. His footsteps echoed across the hallway as they emptied, which meant that he was running late. For some reason, he did things a lot slower when he was nervous.. but why was he nervous?

The taller male sighed, as he closed his locker, and as he did... "hey." A soft, medium deep voice said. The voice made his back tingle and he jumped , making him trip and fall, the heavy books he was carrying scattering across the entire floor. "Ow." He said, rubbing his head, still not aware of the situation. His previously tightly closed eyelids fluttered open and he saw Ren, his hand stretched out to him as he had an apologetic smile on his handsome face. Yuuto scoffed "h-hey! Don't scare me like that!" He looked away from him.

"Hey are you blushing?" Said Ren teasingly. He looked at him with flirty eyes. Yuuto could already tell what kind of person he was.
"N-No" His cheeks are now becoming red as blood.
"I'm just teasing" He says reaching his hand out to help him up. Yuuto avoids his hand in order to prevent further blushing but this doesn't help. Even if he had taken his hand, it would be too late to prevent his feelings. Yuuto kept looking at the ground, he grabbed his books, and ran to class not saying a word or looking back. Ren quickly followed him, "Hey wait up!".

The boys were now at the door of the classroom, extremely late. Yuuto reached for the handle, but by the time his hand gets there, Ren's hand is already there. Now the two students hands are touching. They glance up at each other, and look sharply into each other's eyes. Yuuto knows he has fucked up, because now he knows he'll never be able to avoid his feelings. Finally Yuuto takes his hand off after three seconds of staring. Ren opens the door and and the boys walk into class.

All of a sudden a 'Careless Whisper' starts playing and Yuuto covers his face frustratedly - trying to cover his red face of course - and goes to his seat in the back corner of the room. Ren starts laughing at the situation and jokingly says, "I'm gonna kill you Makoa-chan." He then shakes Mako's hand and takes it all as a joke whilst the song played in the background. Ren sat on a desk, in the middle row, he sat on the chair, leaned back and put his feet on the table.

"If Ren arrived yesterday, how does he already have friends? He's fast" Thought Yuuto to himself " He is so cool, how can he have such an easygoing, kind personality AND also be so hot?" Yuuto was now, once again, admiring Ren. His soft, messy looking black hair. His pale freckled hands, his hands were all he could see from where he sat. Ren's perfect body. It was all to good to be true.

"SILENCE" shouted miss. Robinson entering the classroom, also late, "Sit down properly, get your books out and start reading chapter five of the book we started yesterday!!" Miss. Robinson reminded Yuuto a lot about Mr. Robinson in 'The Amazing World of Gumball". She was mean - for no reason, gave way too much homework and, was mean mentioned?
