It's been a year since my mother was murdered, I was coming back from classes when I had an epiphany that something wasn't right, something was really really wrong.
So I took off for the main building, when I got there; there was a car leaving but I paid it no mind.
I had to get to my sister was my one thought instead, that decision would come to haunt me for a long time.
I burst through the door, some of the nuns were loitering about when I came in startling them.
But when they caught sight of me, they became nervous.I could see it in their eyes "pity", it saturated the air so much that you could almost taste it. It could only mean one thing something was wrong with my sister.
Fearing the worst, I ran straight for the nursery. Some of the nuns were calling out to me to come back, but I had to get to my sister.
I basically bulldozed through the door, startling and waking up some other kids. But I didn't care, it was a race to my sister's bed and when I got there I saw it.
My little sister's bed was Empty.
