CHAPTER THREE

Taehyung stood up at about 10 o'clock and went to the bathroom. After he got ready, he went downstairs. Jimin was sitting on the couch "I've been to the den already, so I picked up your backpack." He stood up and handed it over to Tae "The list's in there." The smaller boy took it and smiled, "Thanks." He put on his shoes and some random jacket which probably was Jimin's. "I'll be back as soon as possible," he said and grabbed his skateboard as he left the apartment.

He shifted the backpack on his shoulders and started skating down the large sidewalk. On his way, he met some other gang members he had become friends with. Hoseok, another close friend had already finished his tour and decided to accompany him for a while so they drove down the streets together and talked. They quickly finished Tae's tour as well and decided to go to Jimin's and his apartment. "We gotta turn left here." Tae said and smiled at Hoseok as he skated into the dark side street.

He was completely focused on Hoseok so he didn't see what was in front of him. As he looked back on the road it already was too late and he bumped into some big guy. Hoseok had stopped and looked at Tae who was standing up, "Sorry Sir. I didn't look where I was going." He looked at the man and his eyes widened. "Shit...", he said rather to himself but it was clearly audible. "You know you shouldn't curse in front of a police officer," the tall man said. "Tae we gotta run!", Hoseok said as he wanted to leave but the officer grabbed Tae by his arm "You're going nowhere." Tae looked at Hoseok who looked back at the desperate boy.  He knew Hoseok had drugs on him and there still was a bag of pills in his backpack that was meant for Jimin.

He didn't know what to do. He could just pull outhis mark but then his mission would be ruined. But if he let himself get arrested,he'd be thrown back for weeks. He shoved his hands into the pockets of the jacketand quickly realised it wasn't his. Jimin always told him to carry aswitchblade with him for safety and said that he had one himself. He felt the handle in his right pocket and as the officer started pulling him in direction of the squad car his thoughts went blank. He picked up the skateboard "Ok officer," He said as he looked at Hobi and showed him the handle. He nodded and as they got closer to the car and saw no other policeman in the car Tae pulled the knife out. He let the blade snap out of the handle and rammed it into the officers' stomach. "Tae we really gotta go!" Hoseok almost shouted. "Never leave a weapon on the crime scene", Tae thought so he put the knife back into his pocket and the two boys skated home as fast as they could.

They entered the Apartment just to meet a desperate Jimin. "Tae where have you been??? You're 2 hours late! I've been worried! Couldn't you at least text me???" Tae laughed nervously. "It's fine. We've just been...busy." Hoseok laughed: "Busy? Kid you almost killed an officer," he said and turned over to Jimin "We gotta tell the boss. You can become a proper member now. We have to celebrate that!" Jimin looked at Tae and was quite impressed. "Wow. Even I haven't done anything like that." He said as he gave him a pat on his back "I'm proud of you kid."

Tae smiled even though he  felt like dying inside "Thanks. I'm gonna go upstairs...I'mtired." The other two boys nodded and Tae went into his room. He droppedhimself and started realising what he had just done. He had stabbed a policeofficer. Why? Why couldn't he just go with the officer? He took one deep breathafter another. This was for his mission. The officer would survive. He juststabbed him in the stomach. And in the end, he would destroy the gang so it wasworth it. After some more minutes of thinking he finally fell asleep.
