HOUSE OF CARDS | TAEKOOK

CHAPTER ONE

Taehyung woke up with a wide smile on his face.

The day had finally come. Today, his first mission would start.

He would become a member of the biggest drug syndicate in Korea. He would work for them and collect information. He would meet their leader and arrest him. He would make this whole Empire collapse just like a house of cards. He would do what his dad wasn't able to do all those years.

Taehyung stood up and went downstairs to make himself a coffee, his thoughts still with the mission that would start in a few hours.

After having breakfast, he went upstairs to get dressed. He didn't have anything else than vintage clothes so he had bought a black hoodie and jeans just the day before because that would fit a gang member better than the stuff he usually wore.

As he left the house, he went through all the information he had about his mission again.

He was about to become a member of Sam Yong Pa, the biggest gang in Korea. The syndicate was led by someone the police called "White Rabbit". Well, that name was the best way to describe the guy. Literally nobody knew his face, at least not anybody who was still alive. The guy always wore a white rabbit mask. No one knows why it's a rabbit but Taehyung told himself he would be the one to find out.

He would be the one to see the white rabbit's face and get away before he notices. He knew it could end bad. He always heard his father talk about people being killed because they had seen his face. That's what his father said. He told him the way their dead bodies were found always showed that they saw the rabbit's face but Taehyung didn't know what his dad meant by that. But he never really asked. Though he didn't want to know what exactly could happen to him because he knew himself and if he had known what could probably happen to him, he would never have taken the job. But he wanted to do it.

Even though it was risky. Tae wanted his father to be proud of him. He wanted the whole nation to be proud of him.

He took one more deep breath and left his small apartment. His probably longest, hardest and definitely biggest mission would start in just a few hours. He didn't know what would happen today. He had never informed himself about gangs and all that stuff, the only things the boy knew were the things that they were told at the police academy but Taehyung thought that was all the information he needed and it would be weird to know everything so people would know there was something wrong with him. He would get to know all the other important things at the time he needed to.

He got from Gangnam to one of the poorer quarters of Seoul as he walked down the road. He could already smell the scent of weed as he walked into one of the smaller roads. Just by looking at all these house walls full of graffiti he could tell that this was gang territory. Normally he wouldn't walk through here but from now on he had to. He had chosen this mission by himself and he wouldn't turn back now. And who knows? Maybe it would not be that bad. Taehyung exactly knew would be bad but at least he could hope even though it wouldn't help.

He arrived at the building he was told to go to and took another deep breath.

He went into the den and the scent of alcohol and cigarettes directly reached his nose. He hated it. Taehyung was disgusted by drugs of all kinds whether they were legal or not.

The boy looked around and quickly realised he didn't want to be here by himself. All those guys in the den seemed so dangerous.

Tae didn't even realise that he was standing right in the doorway for about 5 minutes until someone interrupted his thoughts, "Hey kid! Get out of the way!". Tae flinched and moved quickly. He turned around and bowed nervously, "I'm really sorry." He looked up at the guy and was quite surprised by what he saw. The guy standing in front of him was completely different from all the others here. He was probably Taehyung's age, a bit taller than him and his hair was dyed bright red. "It's fine," the boy said; "You're the new kid, right?", the boy asked stretching his arm, which was covered in tattoos, out to reach Tae's hand. "My name's Jimin. I'll show you around." Tae took his hand shyly to shake it "I'm Taehyung. Nice to meet you"

so this was acrually a School Project for writing class but I exchanged School before i was able to finish this Story. I still thought it would be nice to share and I hope you enjoy reading. Since I'm still in the writing process, there might be slow updates but I try to regulate them, that's why I only post one chapter a day (Just written the first 4 but if you want all of them Right now just tell me but that would mean youd have to wait longer for chap 5).
