"Get up!" Cassie shook me. 

I rubbed my eyes and looked at her. "Who let you in?"

"Obviously your dad! C'mon! I wanna go dress shopping already! The dance is just a few days away and we don't have our dresses yet, and if you don't get your lazy ass outta bed, we won't get 'em today!" 

"Well sorry I was busy hanging out with Connor late last night," I slowly pulled the covers off my body. 

"What?! Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" 

"What time is it?" I looked at my phone, and saw it was nine in the morning. "Sorry it was only like seven hours ago." 

"Four hundred and twenty!" Cass yelled. 

"Huh?" I looked at her, confused. 

"You had four hundred and twenty minutes to tell me that you and Connor hungout, and you wouldn't even take one of those four hundred and twenty minutes to tell me about it?!" 

 "I was sleeping!" I shouted at her. 

"Whoa, calm your tits. At least you told me." 

"Exactly." I got out of bed and made my way to the closet. I randomly took some ripped skinny jeans and a white tank top. 

"Does it even bother you on what you wear?" 

"Is something wrong with the clothes I wear?" I asked Cassie. 

She shook her head instantly. "No, just that, you take anything from your closet and wear it." 

"Well, in case you haven't noticed, I like the things in my closet," I rolled my eyes. 

"Figured considering you bought the things in there." 

"I'm hungry, let's get breakfast?" I suggested. 

"Sure. Your dad told me he is making some pancakes so let's go get some." 

I walked into the kitchen and saw my smiling dad. "Morning, girls," Dad hugged me, then hugged Cassie. 

"Morning, dad," I greeted as I sat down at the table. 

"How's your finger?" 

"Still hurts, but it'll get better." 

"I still find it hard to believe Ryan broke it," Dad told me as he turned to his pancakes. 

"It was an accident. Ryan would never hurt me." 

"Yes, I know. He's a good guy." 

"When will the pancakes be ready? Cassie and I are dress shopping today," I told my dad. 

"Soon. Cassie, do you prefer chocolate chips on your pancakes or anything else?" 

"No, I like the original ones, thank you," Cass smiled. 

"Alright." 

"So tell me everything about you and Connor!" Cass told me with a huge grin on her face. 

I narrowed my eyes at her, looked mad, and pointed to my dad. 

'Sorry' she formed with her mouth.
