I could hear the muffled sounds of people talking. Was I dreaming?

I could tell I was laying down, but  there was an unfamiliar smell.

I didn't like that I was put on a bed without my knowledge. It could be dirty.

I was extremely conscious about the things I touch.

Having OCD, I don't like germs. I also don't like hair being on my bed, my clothes, or anything for that matter.

I opened my eyes and saw two women staring at me.

"How are you feeling Luna?" one of the women asked me.

Feeling groggy,  it took me a few seconds to realize where I was and what happened.

Oh yea, I'm in hell. I remembered.

I tried to sit up but could only get as far as leaning back on my elbows.

I looked behind the two women and noticed I was in a room with two beds across from each other.

Still feeling groggy. I asked what happened.

"We had to give you a small dose of ativan to calm you down." one women said. "You seem to be much calmer now"

"Duh, you fuckin drugged me dude." I yelled

"I understand you're upset, but please refrain from cursing." one of the women said. "We are only here to help you."

"My name is Abby," she said. "And this is Julie and we are both nurses here."

"Where exactly is here." I asked

"You are at a facility for adolescents that suffer with mental health issues, drugs and alcohol, and certain traumas. " Julie explained.

"I know this." I told them.  "I meant like what state. "

"This facility is in Chicago, Illinois. " Abby said.

I don't know why they couldn't tell me that to begin with.

"This will be your room." Julie told me. "As of now you don't have a roommate, but that could change anytime."

"It's starting to get late, and I assume you would like to shower before going to sleep" Abby said.

"Um, well...ya I guess that would be nice." I told them

"The girls bathrooms are down the hall on the left" Julie told me

Since she mentioned the 'girls' bathroom, I wondered if there was boys here as well.

"We will give you some privacy. " Julie said. "There are clean towels on the shelves in the bathroom"

"Please take your clothes with you and get dressed in the stalls." Abby said. "In the showers there is a shelf on the other side beside the shower to set your clothes. You will see what I am talking about when you get in there."

They both left the room

I grabbed the bag my mom packed and set it on top of the dresser to open it.

Looking through the bag I  pulled out some underwear, a pair of sweat pants, a bra, a tshirt and some socks. I also grabbed my shower shoes.

Thank God my mom remembered those.  I have to wear shoes at all times.

I have this problem with walking on any sort of floor without shoes.  I feel like the floor is dirty and there is hair on the floor.

I grabbed my sandals and put them on. I needed shoes to walk to the bathroom and to walk back.
