I didn't get much sleep last night but, the show was in a few hours and I was determined to be there on time and blow the roof off the place.

I stood in front of the bathroom mirror, putting on as much black makeup as I could when Rebecca stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself.

She walked up behind me and looked at the mirror over my shoulder. "Damn, I'm loving that black lipstick."

I turned and planted a soft kiss on her lips. "Well, It looks way better on you."

She chuckled before walking out to our room.

After putting my makeup on, I got started on my hair. I fluffed it up and combed it over to one side, sticking a few pins in to keep it in place.

Then, I quickly changed into my outfit and met Rebecca in the living room.

"So? What do you think?" I asked, gesturing to myself.

She smirked at me as she stood and walked over, resting her arms on my shoulders. "Mmm, you look irresistible."

I smiled. "Thanks... So, what're you wearing?"

She stepped back. "You'll just have to wait and see."

I faked a pout, causing her to laugh. "Sorry, sweetie, you just aren't that charming."

I groaned. "Fine, I'll see you at the show then?"

She nodded. "Before you leave though, I got you a present."

"Oh, you didn't have to get me anything... wait, was I supposed to get you something?"

She grabbed a box from the kitchen table and handed it to me. "No, I got this for the show."

I opened the box and pulled out a shiny, new bullet belt. A wide grin spread on my lips. "How did you know I wanted one?"

"Uh, because you used to talk about it all the time." She mimicked my pose. "Rebecca, how cool would I look with one of these? Dude, I'd be just like Lemmy from Motorbreath." She finished, mimicking my voice as well.

I laughed. "First off, it's Motörhead, and I don't sound like that."

She chuckled. "Whatever, a simple thanks would be nice."

I planted a quick kiss on her lips. "Thanks, babe."

   She smiled. "No problem."

I quickly put the belt on and modeled it for Rebecca. "So? How does it look?"

She scratched her chin, nodding to herself. "It looks like the best twenty bucks I ever spent."

I laughed, giving her a playful nudge. "Alright, I gotta run. I'll see you later."

She nodded and gave me another quick kiss before waving me off.

I walked up to the front door of Twist, bumping into Beth and Kris. Kris had a whole 80's business woman thing going on, shoulder pads included, while Beth wore, well, what Beth normally wears.

"Hey, guys. You look great, Kris... and Beth, I thought you agreed to dress up?"

She shrugged. "Denim jackets were popular then."

I shook my head. "Fine, c'mon."

I opened the doors and let them in before walking in.

We stopped in our tracks, taking in all the people dressed up.

"Jesus Christ, I've never seen so many mullets and leg warmers in one place." Beth said.
