the Fantribe I'm working on are born as a plain white, wingless dragon-like creature, that has stubs for horns
they usually mimic the first creature they see/like, and stay like that they have a basic appearance, but can grow wings, extra horns, fur, feathers, and a few other things
they can be aquatic, airborn, and even just live on the land normally
