"Eyes are the mirror of our soul"
That's what you said the first time we met
When I smiled, and you said, "you can cry"
And you knew from there, I was a broken girlYou knocked on my door and asked something deep
"Can I fix you, my lady? ", you said with a smile plastered on your lips
And I looked straight in your eyes and knew it was real
You're too bright, and sent chaos in my mindShould I let you in or not?
Should I trust you or not?
Can you really fix me?
Or you're just another person that'll leave me in the end?But you proved me wrong
Because you're always there, even though I push you away
And at that moment, I knew that I'm letting you in
Not just in my life but also in my heartYou became the light in my dark days
My once monotone world gained rainbows
You showed me that there's more to life than I can see
I became fixed bit by bit because of youYou're always smiling genuinely
And I think I caught that habit of yours
Because a smile rose from my lips when I looked at your eyes
You are the most beautiful thing that my eyes ever sawDay and night, I always thank God
Because He let me meet someone like you
Someone who showed me my worth
Someone whom my heart can loveThen a moment shattered the mirage in front of me
I reaceived a call from your phone
But it was someone anonymous
Saying that you left the world and became an angelThat was why you were dead set on fixing me
Because you can't bear to see another you
You can't bear looking in someone's eyes, and know that it was another broken person
So you saved me instead, even though you need it moreAnd I promised you on your white casket
That I won't waste my second shot at life, because it was you fixed it
Instead, I will live it to the fullest, like how you've always wanted
And I will be the one to continue your life with mine
