I meekly twisted the knob of my small abode, shivering in the gloomy weather. I stripped off my shoes and put them up on the rack, then proceeded over to the living room.

"Y/n, you're soaked! Why didn't you give me a call?" Chan interrogated, hands on his waist.

I just waved my hands, "I didn't want to bother you, plus you were probably busy training for the game tomorrow."

"But, you could've just asked y'know. Anyways, just go up and get changed." he said, tossing a dry towel.

I gave him a thumbs up and carefully tiptoed over to the bathroom, being mindful not leave puddles on the wooden floors.

I looked at my reflection. My hair was wet, my skin pale, perfectly illuminating the bags under my eyes. Sighing at my misfortunes, I hopped into the warm shower, my body no longer tense. I spent a good hour in the tub before leaving and napping in my room.

My eyes fluttered open, oh shit, how long was I out for? I checked my phone, it was only 8pm. Oh, I still had time to work on Jeongin's potion.

I was contemplating on whether I should be doing this, because it will literally change everything. Less time with Jeongin, less blabbering with him during lunch, basically giving up being with him. He'd be busy taking Hana on dates, preparing little surprises for her. Plus, the potion had its own set of side effects. The person who drinks it will be extra clingy, practically showering, a full blown shower of love. Was I ready to witness that? No. But if it was for Jeongin's happiness, then so be it.

The serum only puts the latter into  trance for a month, but they still do have full consciousness of every detail that happened in that month. So there's that possibility that the victim will truly fall for that person. Hooray for me, note the sarcasm. Okay, enough with the negativity, let's get on with this potion.

I took out my book from my shelf, flipping the pages for the antidote recipe. Let's see, hm. I read over the materials, choosing the right ingredients from my spice cabinet. A little pinch of this, a splash of that, mix it together and-

A puff of smoke emerged from the beaker, a heart with a pink hue. Ugh, it made my own heart gag. I snatched a bottle of water from the fridge and put the contents of the potion in, giving it a little shake. Satisfied with the mixture, I smacked a label on it so no one in the house would drink it. Wouldn't want someone accidentally falling in love with Mochi.

Making a beeline towards my room, I flopped on my bed. I just stared at my ceiling, preparing myself for the events that would unfold tomorrow. Goddammit, I'm such an idiot.
