There you were, your words echoed inside the boss room. "Is that you? Kayaba?" The man known as Heathcliff sighed as he sheathed his weapons. "Damn, I was really hoping that no one would've found out." Kayaba opened his menu and pressed a button. All of a sudden, you felt your body start to fail as you and everyone except him fall to the floor. You check your screen as you realized the paralysis status effect on the side of your health bar. He had given you all a paralysis debuff. You struggle to get up but are unable to.
"I really wanted to keep this a secret but I guess secrets don't last forever." He drew his blade as Kirito stood up, drawing his blade to fight. "Kayaba, this all ends here! This death game has gone on for long enough! I'm ending this here and now!" Kirito shouted as he pointed his blade at Kayaba. A message popped up on Kayaba's end. On your end, a message read Challenge Sent as you stood up by using your blade. "You...! You trapped us here...! I will not... Stand for what you've done!" You stand up straight as Kayaba takes the paralysis effect off you. "I will admit, you have guts for challenging me (Y/N's Avatar Name). Fine then, I accept your challenge. What are your conditions?" He looked at you, smiling. "If I win, you'll release the innocent people you've trapped here!" You shout as Kayaba leered at you with eyes like a snake. "And what if I win?" He asks condescendingly. "If you win and I die, then make sure Silica stays happy, create an AI using my data and give it to her. She doesn't deserve to suffer the pain such as being alone." You draw your blade as Silica looks towards you, crying. "N-No! It's not fair! I don't want to lose you!" You give a wave as she reaches out to you. The fight begins.
You quickly burst into a sprint, appearing in front of Kayaba as he is struck by your blade, the greatness of a two-handed sword never ceased to amaze you. You keep swinging the blade as Kayaba blocked with either his sword or his shield, bloody murder was in your eyes, the man who made thousands suffer. It was time for vengeance. You're attacks start speeding up with the blade begins to glow brightly. A sword skill you didn't know about? No, this felt new. A sword skill of your own. You swing your blade but he quickly dodged. "What the hell? How did he do that...? Oh... That's right... He's an admin, he rules the game..." You thought as he made one powerful strike along your chest. You watch your health bar drop from the green, to the yellow, then finally the red. Was this truly how you die? To an evil man bent on his obsession of a new world? But you didn't shatter, rather you fall to your knees. "This was only to be expected, I'll create that AI now." he chuckled but he waited for the challenge ended sign. It didn't appear for him as you disappeared from his sight. Soon he looks up at you but it was too late to block, you cut right down him. "Sorry Kayaba, but this is Game Over..." Your blade glows again, the Original Sword Skill becomes active once again, you finally have a name for it. "Dragon's Burning Crucible!" You then unleash a quick barrage of slashes with the blade, suddenly a blade made of light energy formed in your other hand as you raise your hands, blades above him. "Die Kayaba!" You bring the blades down on top of him, cutting an X through him. Kayaba shatters as the message popped up. Winner! (Y/N's player name)! You soon collapse to the floor, the paralysis wearing off of everyone. Silica runs up to you, hugging you tightly, thinking you had died. "H...Hey... Silica...?" You say weakly, slowly moving your hand to open the menu. "Oh thank God you're still alive...! What is it?" You move to the log out button. "What's your name...?" She says it as you log out.
Somewhere inside a hospital, you laid on a hospital bed. To your right is a get well soon balloon from your family. You stand up weakly, your legs shaking as they try to support your body. You hold onto your IV bag carrier as you slowly walk towards a room, opening it to see a girl staring out her window, you walk up to her as she smiles weakly. "It's nice to finally to see you. I missed you. (Y/N)." Tears form in her eyes as you hug her as tightly as you could despite being in a feeble state. "Thank God you're okay... Ayano..." You say as she hugs you back tightly.
