Chapter 9

We had to go back to school today god why does school exist I hate it. I really wanted to beat Jess up for what she did with Leland. I'm not forgiving her.

Me and Millie met at the bus stop and the bus came before we even got to say hi. We quietly got in the bus paying the bus driver. We sat opposite each other at the back. I scrolled through Instagram finding a picture from arianna grande.

She was insanely prettier than me and I loved that about her. Who am I kidding everyone was prettier than me. I soon got a text from Leland.

Leland: hey ruby

Ruby: hey Leland what's up

Leland: I need to tell you something.

Ruby: sure what is it

Leland: I love you like love love you way more than a friend.

Ruby: look I'm sorry I just don't know I don't feel that way with everything that's just been happening.

Leland: oh come on.

Ruby: I'm sorry but where just friends.

Leland: ok well can you please meet me at Sutton at five.

We arrived at school around ten minuets after that and my first lesson was maths. I was with Ashleigh and Millie so I can't really complain. Who am I kidding I can complain we're learning useless stuff.

We where learning calculus and I wasn't paying attention. I was being reckless and just texting kia who was in her English class. Kia was probably more reckless than me.

Ruby: someone tell me why maths a thing.

Kia: I could say the same about my class.

Ruby: lol what you learning.

Kia: one of Shakespeare's plays.

Ruby: I did one of those a few weeks ago

"Ruby are you on your phone" oh shot the teacher found me. "I have a reasoning my dad was texting me telling me my brothers at hospital" I said back at her with faking a sad voice. She was completely taken back "you are free to go from this lesson "thank you miss."

I left the classroom I didn't know where to go so I just went to the library. I got a random book and just started reading turns out that book was Harry Potter and it was actually really good I might start reading the series.

While I was reading Leland texted me which was annoying but his message was actually really sad.

Leland: we're going to have to meet at seven instead.

Ruby: why seven.

Leland: my mums in hospital and the visiting time closes at half five so I could meet you at seven.

Ruby: why is she in hospital you don't need to tell me if you don't want to.

Leland: she got in a car crash.

Ruby: don't worry she'll be fine.

Leland: I really do hope so.

Ruby: just remember I'm here if you ever need to talk to someone.

Leland: thanks ruby look I gotta go.

Ruby: bye.

She was in the hospital from a car crash omg that makes me wanna cry and I don't even know her. I really do hope Lelands feeling alright. Anyway what time is it 11 oh shit my next class is about to start.

Leland: ruby I need you I'm so upset she might not make it please talk to me make me feel better.

It was dinner time now and something was going to happen I was going to beat Jess up. She's goons hate me but idc I hate her more. I was walked up to her and immediately slapped her I slapped Jessica. She looked like she was going to cry. I punched her in the face and then started to scream at her.

"You fucking bitch how dare you ruin my relationship"

"You left me heartbroken for someonething that didn't even happen"

"I hope when you die you go to hell"

"Ruby can you please come to my office" oh shot it was the principal.

"Ruby you are suspended from school for a week you will come back next Monday"

I waited in the shopping center till school finshed.

It was after school now I was in a bus again going home till I was going to meet Leland.

It was now almost time to meet Leland and I was on a bus again. My dad thought I was just going to a park but no I was going to see Leland.

I got off the bus only to see Leland waiting for me I ran to him and hugged him. Then he kissed me god it was so magical.
