The thunder calls with booming anger,
I feel it all but the danger,
when least I can suspect,
It strikes me burning my light to death.
Yet, alas I cannot go.
Instead, my eyes just close.
I already know why,
Because God's rath I did defy,
No, not denied it
I testify because it was I,
I who was shown...
Now it's my curse to never go...
Go where the lightening was destined,
I defied his word, and he denied me heaven.
