{NOTE: My friend gave me this idea. And just the book in general. I would like to thank her for deciding to give me it. If not I may be still reading fan fictions on Ao3. Thank you for being unknowingly patient and not forcing me to write this book right that moment. It has been sitting on a back burner and inspiration has now struck. Hope you enjoy this story @MaeMae_Ozzy.

To help with any confusion this chapter, what is happening below was right after Peter left his school. The story will then continue on from there.}

Peter Walking Away From the School Building

The joy of getting to leave school. Only to realized you have to go back there tomorrow, unless it is the weekend, break, or summer vacation. So, sure, it was a temporary joy before logic and reality crushed it but it still thrived during its short-lived life.

One thing that can make the that joy last longer is what you do before you start thinking about how you have school tomorrow.

For Peter it was how he got to swing around being Spider-Man. It was refreshing the way he could just go into an alley and, after making sure there was nothing around like cameras that could cost him his secret identity, change into his suit.

But before he could do all that Peter had to inform Aunt May that he was going to wander around a bit before he came home.

Getting his earbuds out Peter started listing to the first song that was at the top of the songs he had recently listened to (If I Can't Have You by Shawn Mendes.)

I can't write one song that's not about you
Can't drink without thinkin' about you
Is it too late to tell you that
Everything means nothing if I can't have you?

I'm in Toronto and I got this view
But I might as well be in a hotel room, yeah
It doesn't matter 'cause I'm so consumed
Spending all my nights reading texts from you

Oh, I'm good at keepin' my distance
I know that you're the feelin' I'm missing
You know that I hate to admit it
But everything means nothin' if I can't have you

I can't write one song that's not about you
Can't drink without thinkin' about you
Is it too late to tell you that
Everything means nothing if I can't have you?
I can't write one song that's not about you
Can't drink without thinkin' about you
Is it too late to tell you that
Everything means nothing if I can't have you?

I'm so sorry that my timing's off
But I can't move on if we're still gonna talk
Is it wrong for me to not want half?
I want all of you, all the strings attached

Oh, I'm good at keepin' my distance
I know that you're the feelin' I'm missing
You know that I hate to admit it
But everything means nothin' if I can't have you

I can't write one song that's not about you
Can't drink without thinkin' about you
Is it too late to tell you that
Everything means nothing if I can't have you?
I can't write one song that's not about you
Can't drink without thinkin' about you
Is it too late to tell you that
Everything means nothing if I can't have you?
