I ran down the street and stopped at her door, I rang on the doorbell and waited. The door swung open and Charlotte's excited face appeared. "Hiya! Come on in!"
I stepped into her house and I gave her a hug. "How are you?!"
"I'm so excited!"
"So I suppose we should get started!"
"Yep! Let's go upstairs!"
I kicked my boots off and we ran upstairs. We opened her bedroom door and jumped onto her bed. "Here." Charlotte said handing me over a piece of scrupled paper.
"What's this?" I said unfolding the piece of paper.
"It's his number!"
"Who's?"
"The cute guy I was telling you about!"
"Oh him! Anyway let's get started!"
"Ok!"
Charlotte walked up to her wardrobe and opened the door, she ran her finger along all her clothes and selected a baby pink dress, she pinned it against her body. "It's so cute!" I said examining the dress. "Go try it on."
"Ok." Charlotte replied as she walked out the door.
A few minutes later she came back in the adorable dress. "It's amazing! Wait...it needs something else..." I said as a pulled out a denim shirt.
I held it up in the air. "This" I said "Put it on."
"Ok!" said Charlotte as she put the shirt on.
I rolled up the sleeves and tied the two ends of the shirt in a knot. "There!"
"Oh my gosh Darcie! I look amazing!" Charlotte ran up to me and hugged me. "It's ok! But we're not done yet! Where's your make-up bag?" Charlotte grabbed her make-up bag off the bedside table and handed it to me "Here." she said.
"Thanks, sit down and I'll do your make-up."
"Ok thanks!" she said as she sat down.
I rummaged through her make-up bag and found her concealer, and I dotted it around her face. Charlotte then gently rubbed it in. I pulled out the mascara and handed it to Charlotte saying "You do it! I always end up jabbing you in the eye!"
"Yeah! True!" She said giggling.
Once Charlotte had put the mascara on I handed her some lip gloss and she put that on too. "Done?" she said.
"Not yet!" I took her hair out of her bun and gently brushed it out. "There! Now we're done!" I said.
"Wow! I look amazing! Thanks so much Darc! I don't know what I'd do without you!"
Charlotte gave me the biggest hug ever.
"It's ok! Anyway I better get going!" I said.
I handed her a pair of black ankle boots and a pair of white frilly socks. "Thanks!" said Charlotte as she put on her shoes.
We ran downstairs. I put my shoes on and grabbed my bag. I hugged Charlotte and said "Hope you have fun! and tell me all about it tomorrow!"
"I will! Bye bye!"
I opened her front door and walked out "Bye Charley have fun with Robbie! And good luck!"
"Thanks! Bye!" said Charlotte as she closed the front door.
