sooyoung was always fascinated by chemistry. she didn't tell anyone, but it was something she always enjoyed. today, the learned about physical chemistry. no more science-ey equation crap, but instead the science of love. There were three main levels of the chemistry of love.
Lust
Attraction
Attachment
Lust: humans have a need to reproduce. seeing a certain someone may cause testosterone and estrogen levels to rise. lust.
Attraction: Dopamine levels may rise when seeing someone you are 'attracted' to. Sometimes, dopamine levels can replace daily needs, so some may not be able to even eat or sleep because they are too in love
Attachment: Oxytocin is released, and it's often called the cuddle hormone. You just want to be in the touch of someone else.
Attraction shocked both Jiwoo and Sooyoung. The fact that dopamine could replace eating and sleeping, you're so in love that you don't even function properly. love was a drug. and with this drug, some may even get a fight or flight response. This hit them both hard. Every time sooyoung saw jiwoo, flight was triggered. she ran. with jiwoo, she wanted to fight with love, be right near sooyoung. but they don't even know eachother, even their names are a mystery. But they are connected. Chemistry between the two. Lust. Attraction. Attachment.
These two had never felt like this towards anyone before. This wasn't a friendly feeling, it was something more. It scared them both, but they were willing to take the risk.
