The next morning at 7 a.m. Lindsey gets woken up by a nurse. "Good morning sweetie" The nurse says happily. "I'm sorry to tell you but, you will be heading to a different hospital at 10. Before you leave would you like something to eat ?"
"No" Lindsey mumbled.
"Well it is required that we feed you, so I just bring you a little something" the nurse said. The nurse walked and out of the room and down the hall to the cafeteria.
Lindsey sits there in shock. This is really happening. She thinks to herself. "I gotta get outta here" she whispers. Lindsey tries to open the door. No luck.
She presses her emergency button. A nurse comes running in the door.
"Is everything alright ?!" The nurse screams.
Lindsey grabs one of the portable machines in her room and hits the nurse over the head. She quickly runs down the hallway. Trying to find a way out. She attempts to open every door she sees. No luck. Finally, she sees a sign. That in bright, bold red letters says, EXIT.
She tries to open the door but it seems to be jammed.
Doctors come running down the hall. Two of them grab her by the arm and drag her back down to her room.
"Dammit ! I was so close !" Lindsey screams.
There is a knock on her door. A nurse comes in with a slice of bacon a small egg and a glass of grape juice.
"Here you go sweetie, and please eat." The nurse said.
'Okay..I will eat" Lindsey mumbled.
"Good, now I will be coming back here soon. We leave in thirty minutes" the nurse said. The nurse left the room and locked the door.
Lindsey began to panic. I don't wanna go there she thought. "I am not insane. I should stay here!" Lindsey screamed.
