within 5 minutes, zach jumped out of bed, grabbed his phone and car keys, and was at maddy's door step.
knock knock
maddy dragged her feet to the door, opening it slowly, but dropping her smile once it was open. zach could hear murmurs in the background, the voice belonging to a male.
"hey" zach spit out
maddy then opened the door more, allowing the brunette boy to step into her house.
"give me one second" maddy said, grabbing her phone and saying a quick 'bye' before hanging up what zach knows now was a facetime call.
"who was that?"
"daniel. what do you wanna talk about?"
daniel.
zach could feel the peng of jealousy and hurt in his heart when she said his name. daniel. daniel. daniel. her words still running through his mind. replaying, over and over.
maddy then snapped her fingers infront of zachs eyes.
"zach?? zach hello?"
"i-i uh y-yeah sorry." he replied, now embarrassed that he had zoned out.
"what do you need to talk about?"
"... daniel."
"daniel?" maddy asked confused. why would he wanna talk about daniel? what is he up to? is he gonna ask me about him? apologize?
"yeah, daniel."
maddy furrowed her eyebrows.
"i just think you should know the truth about him before you pick between me or him."
"the truth?"
"yes, the truth."
"talk." maddy said pointing to the couch, signaling for him to sit.
zach then sat, and started explaining. the unbelievable truth.
