maddy woke up, first unsure of were she was, but then remembering the previous night. she looked down onto her stomach to see a peacefully sleeping zach. she smiled at the sight and then put her fingers in his hair, playing with it like she had the night before. zach's cheeks had still been stained with tears and a darker tint of red lined his under eyes. maddy felt bad for him, he liked tiff and she went and cheated on him. but why would she do that? was all maddy could thing. he's an amazing person and any girl was lucky to have him.
she was taken back from her thoughts when she heard the brunette mumble, "goodmorning." she smiles and replied with a goodmorning aswell.
she began to sit up and collect all her things from the previous night when zach day up and said, "where are you going?"
"home, i feel like i should get out of your hair." she replied taking out her phone and checking all the messages from the time she was with zach and not looking at her phone.
"no, no mads it's fine. you're really helping me get through this." he said getting up and hugging her form behind. then, setting his head on her shoulder.
"can we just cuddle for a little bit longer?" the boy said added a whine.
"zach..." maddy replied seriously.
"please mads?" he said giving his irresistible puppy dog eyes.
"fine one hour, but then i need to get home and finish my homework for tomorrow." she said, finally giving in. knowing that he wouldn't take no for a answer. he then pulled her back into the bed and cuddled into her chest. then, wrapping his arms around her waist, feeling the warmth that her body was giving off. for him it was a comfortable warmth that made him feel safe.
after what seemed like minutes, but in reality it was a hour and a half, maddy got up and grabbed her stuff. taking advantage of zach being fast asleep. but it took her 5 minutes alone trying to get out of his death grip. when she got out she started to feel empty, yet she knew that she can't like him. she likes daniel. but all she could think was, do i really like daniel? or am i still in love with zach?
all day long that thought stuck with her. she couldn't help but think about it. she was really trying to find her feelings and figure out what to do. she knew that she liked both daniel and zach, but she didn't know which one she loved. she would just have to get through this week of school and see what happens.
