Well it was been way to long and I apologise, I'm in the middle of exams but was able to write this I can't wait til after exams then I can be more consistent

Sookie POV

I felt warm as though I was wrapped up in warmth. I then started to remember all of what had happened and suddenly open my eyes to find myself wrapped up in a duvet on a blush soft black bed. Looking around me I figured out I was back in the hotel i could tell from the unique black white and red elegant colour scheme, however not in my suite but Eric's. I mentally role my eyes at how he would put me in his bed in his room instead of just back in mine. Typical. Too say I was pissed no I was fuming because I knew it was just to toy and whine up Bill but nevertheless apparently we had a party to attend not that I had a say what so ever. I got dressed then we left and drove in a surprisingly comfortable silence. As soon as we got the house I noticed how big it was and modern, which surprised me because godric didn't seem like the type to have such a modern house, however it had a simplicity that screamed Godric.

The house looked like it was cut out from A Architects daily magazine. It was truly breath taking, and to my surprise quite open although it was located pretty much in the middle of nowhere it seemed quite welcoming. The walls were a creamy white colour broken up with grey marble strips of bricks decorating the sides. It had huge rectangular clear clean windows that let in lots of light, but I glanced closer and realised they were tinted which must keep the uv light going through, it was also framed with thick silk grey curtains. Just below was a large oak door with small lions carved into it and bright yellow porch lights on the sides. The house was big but not enough to be called a mansion from the outside it looked like it had 3 floors so maybe I was wrong. To be frank it made my house look like an old shed. The style wasn't very boujee but practical not embellished which was a stark contrast to Eric who liked the high end brands and materials.

We got out the car and walked into the grand house which was just as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside. However I didn't see any personal touches such as photos or ornaments it was classic and modest but did lack personality. This made me more curious about Godric and what he was really like, it made me want to understand why he kept his house so simple unless maybe he wasn't here a lot. I continued to look around taking in the beauty of the house when I immediately saw bill and started to walk towards him.

"Where were you?!" I asked annoyed that he didn't think to come rescue me from being in the fellowship for 2 DAYS, even Eric seemed concerned about my well being and it should be my boyfriend worried and concerned running to my aid so where the hell was he.

"I'm sorry I got held up"

"Held up?" Is he taking the piss. Then a tall pale slender women with dark brown hair and eyes walked over to us in a long red dress. She was very attractive until she opened her mouth that was.

"Bill" she drawled out hooking her arm around him suggestively. Bill looked like he couldn't be more uncomfortable but I wanted to no what the fuck was going on and I was going to get some god damn answers. "Who is this bill?" I asked then connected the dots "Is she your maker".

"And who might this little thing be huh? Is this what has been taking up all your time? " she paused and then said "she's not much is she?". Bill wore a look of shock on his face then annoyance.

"Well obviously I'm enough for him to be with me and not you" I stated calmly although I was the least bit calm who does she think she is.

Suddenly she has me bent over the bar threateningly baring her fangs. I hear sudden gasps then a weight lifted off of me. Then Godrics calm but powerful voice echoed in the now quiet room.

"Retract. Your. Fangs." There godric was with his hand wrapped around her neck securely then continued "Now!" she obeyed quickly and quietly.

"I neither know nor care who you are but in this area and certainly in this nest I am the authority, do you understand?" She replied meekly "yes sheriff" He then released her.

"This human has proven her self to be courageous and loyal friend to our kind and yet you treat her like a child treats a dragon fly, pulling off wings for sport. No wonder they hate us" She then croaked out "She provoked me" then his expression turned darker "and you provoke me, you disrupt the peace in my own home I could snap you like a twig" She gulped looking very nervous. Bill seemed to come closer to me protectively which made me internally role my eyes. Oh now his here to protect me nice to know. Looking over at Eric he had a serious expression on his face but his eyes danced with satisfaction and amusement.

Godric continued "and I haven't and why is that?" Lorena replied slowly "it's you choice" "indeed it is. You are an older vampire I can tell. You have had hundreds of years to better yourself but you haven't, you are still a savage... and I fear for all of us vampires and humans if this behaviour persists" he then turned to Bill who stepped infront of me.

"You" Godric announced pointing at Bill "You seem to know her" "yes sheriff" bill replied looking embarrassed which he should be. "Escort her from the nest". I so badly wanted to say yeah take the trash out but reframed and decided better of it. He turned to me questioning me "go ahead I will be fine" I told him feeling happier that he at least wanted to know if i minded being left alone.

Godric then turned back to Lorena "I want you out of my area before dawn" Bill then escorted Lorena out. Eric was now by my side as well as godric who had moved next to me. I suddenly felt something "I have a really bad feeling" Eric immediately knew what I meant "what's wrong he asked" worried. Before I could utter another word. A man came in wearing a big black over sized coat, he looked very familiar but I couldn't pin point where from.

"Excuse me everyone can I have your attention. My name is Luke McDonald and I am a member of the fellowship of the sun" I heard a few whispers and low growls, "and I have a message for you all from reverend Steven newland" I was suddenly bombarded by his thoughts and new exactly what he was going to do I immediately yelled "get down!"
