Settling In

"This might be hard to believe but...I came from Hell." Delilah said shyly.
"What do you mean?" Toby asked. Delilah now felt as though she was being interrogated! "I'm the devil's daughter!" Delilah blurted it out, trying to sound as happy as possible to make it less scary or shocking. It didn't work!
"WHAT?! No way!" Toby shouted. His jaw dropped and everyone else looked shocked and slightly afraid....Everyone except Sally who didn't understand a word! "Yep." Delilah now felt extremely awkward. She got up out of the bed. "And I have no clue how I got here!"
"Prove it!" said Jeff.
"W-what?!" Delilah started to feel uncomfortable.
"Prove your the Devil's daughter! You can't just SAY something like that and expect everyone to believe you! So prove it."
"I-I can't! I don't know how! Wait..." she smiled "Actually..." she pulled her sleeve up and revealed a red mark on her arm. It was a pentagram.

Underneath it was a number...666...
"Oh my god...is that-?"
"It's carved into my arm yeah..." said Delilah "Anyone got a knife?" Jeff handed her a knife,still staring at her arm. "I...need the blood of a human for this..." Toby held out his hand. "I won't feel anything so just do it." he said. She cut his arm and watched it bleed onto the mark and then she started chanting.
"This is the creepiest shit I've seen in my entire life! Well...apart from Jane's face!" said Jeff,laughing slightly. Everyone looked at him. "Just tryna lighten the mood jeez!" All of a sudden the ground shook and cracked. The crack opened and Delilah opened her eyes. They were dark black,endless voids and blood started to leak from her sockets. She floated slightly and the chanting grew louder. Her voice sounded deep and possessed. Someone rose from the crack in the floor. A man. Satan.
Delilah stopped floating and her eyes returned to normal. The chanting and shaking stopped and she wiped the blood off her face. She grinned at everyone's scared faces. "Hi Daddy." she said,still grinning from ear to ear. "Why did you bring me here?" The Devil spoke angrily.
"These idiots didn't believe I was your daughter and told me to prove it, so I did! Anyway how's Jake?"
"Who?"
"My brother! Also your son! Ugh." She said angrily. She hated the fact that her father could never remember his own children. He'd even forgotten that it was her birthday today...
"He's fine now why are you here?! Why isn't Nicholas here with you? It's his job!"
"I dunno you tell me! Anyway..." she said as she walked towards the crack in the ground only to be thrown back by some invisible force.
"W-what?! Why can't I-?! Ugh forget it! It's better here anyway!"
"Excuse me?!" said another voice from below.
"Nick?"
"The one and only! Now what were you saying?"
"I was saying it's better here 'cause there are no annoying guards holding me back all the time! Now go away!"

"Is that really want you think of me? Wow I'm hurt." He chuckled. Delilah mumbled something. It was the same thing as before, but backwards. The crack closed and the cut on Toby's arm healed itself. The Devil had disappeared and everything was back to normal.

"Well...she proved it! How did you do that?!" said Toby.
"Toby if you ask one more question I'll slap you!" said a woman from the back of the room. She came to the front and Delilah could now see that the woman had only one eye. The other eye was gone and had been replaced with a clock. "Don't feel awkward! I'm Clockwork by the way. And yes I actually have a clock for an eye go ahead and stare!"
"Sorry I didn't mean to be rude or anything..." Delilah looked away still feeling awkward. "Despite the fact that your a demon you're actually nice! Except for the whole Satanic ritual thing that's just scarred me for life!!No offence!" Jeff said.
"None taken!" She smiled and muttered under her breath, "Yeah I'm nice for now..."
"Perhaps it would be better if you got to know everyone!" Slender interrupted. He must have known how Delilah,and everyone else,was feeling. "Sound good?" Delilah nodded in response and Slender told a boy in a green hat to introduce her to everyone.
"Can I do it later? I've got a level to beat!" he whined. "No! Now listen otherwise no video games for a week!!"
"Fine!" the boy grabbed Delilah by the wrist and dragged her out of the room to meet everybody.
"I can walk you know!" Delilah said. The boy let her go and turned to face her.
"I'm Ben."
"Ok hi. So...you play video games?"
"Duh! Who doesn't? You play them too right 'cause if you don't then just get away from me right now!!" the boy managed to say this in one breath!
"Calm down and breathe for God's sake. Of course I play video games! There are actually a lot of mental benefits of playing games!"
"You hear that Slendy?! It's good for me!! Ok come on." He smiled at her and then turned around to lead the way.
"Hey Ej. Say hi to the new girl!" Ben said to a boy wearing a blue mask. "Hi." he said. "Hey." Delilah said before Ej walked off. 'Rude!' she thought. "That's Lj. Just warning you but if he ever gives you candy don't take it!" Ben looked serious as he said this. "Why?" Delilah looked over Ben's shoulder to see Lj with his hand in a candy jar. He looked like a black and white version of Pennywise. "Most of the time it's poisoned."
Lj suddenly appeared behind them and said "That's right! Well done Benny boy for teaching the newbie never to touch my candy!"
"Don't call me that!" Ben said angrily.
"Whatever shorty!" Lj teased Ben bit he just rolled his eyes.
"And by the way,my name's Delilah!" Delilah said with her hands on her hips.
"Ooh fiesty!" Lj laughed and gave her a lollipop. "Don't worry you can have it. You've earned it! And wow you're even shorter than Ben! HAHAHA!" He said before putting a jelly bean in his mouth and walking off. Delilah growled as he walked off.
"Wow you got a candy pass on your first day!" Ben laughed at Delilah as she bit the lollipop. "Whatever Benny!" she teased him and she was certain he blushed a little. "Oh my gosh are you blushing?!" she said. "What?! N-No!" Ben punched her lightly in the arm.
Jeff came up behind them and said "Aw! Getting along then shorties?"
"Go away Jeff!" Ben yelled.

"Make fun of my height ONE more time and I swear I will END you!!" Delilah yelled. Ben looked shocked that such a small girl could make a threat like that to Jeff.
"Fine I'll leave you two lovebirds!" Jeff ran off before Ben could hit him.

"That was...awkward..." said Delilah.

"Yeah. Uh...anyway you still haven't met Hoodie and Masky."
"We're here." said a voice from the living room.
"Hey guys. This is Delilah."
"The new girl?" a man in a yellow hoodie said as he turned to face her.
"Yeah. Hi."
Ben looked around "Has anyone seen Lulu?"
"She's out." another man in a white mask turned towards them "And Jane's gone with her."
"Oh. Never mind. Come on." Ben walked off again. "Where are we going?" asked Delilah. She's met everyone now right?

-I'm sorry this part is like 100x longer than the other two but I had more ideas for this bit so...yeah 😅 And thanks for putting up with my crappy story and reading this far!-
