Trevor

I almost tripped over myself when I finally got to our place.

"Holy shit Trevor. I thought you have gotten killed last night! Why haven't you answered your phone?" Gary scolded me.

Today, Gary had his hair in a messy blonde quiff that suited him nicely. He had a blue dress shirt with the top two buttons unbuttoned. He was also wearing his jeans and black dress shoes. But what caught my attention was that he still had his 5 o'clock shadow. Gary always shaves. Always.

I can't help but think that it made him even more attractive.

"Hello?" Gary said as he waved his hand in front of my face to gain my attention.

"You haven't shaved." I said as my eyebrows furrowed together.

"Yeah so?" Gary snapped.

"You always shave," I put an emphasis on always."Are you going somewhere tonight?"

"No. Now answer my questions."

That was when I finally remembered,"I left my phone at the bar last night. God dammit it might be in someone elses hands by now. I'll ask the phone company to track my phone."

"You were at the bar again?" Gary sighed."If you don't stop drinking it's going to make you and alcoholic."

"I can't help it. When someone you love, was taken and fell into someone elses arms. It makes you feel...depressed, guilty, and want to change things. But I can't do that anymore, can I?" I said as I glared at the ceiling thinking of the times Dawn and I were together.

Gary only glared at me,"Actually. Yes, I do know what it feels like."

He went into his room and slammed the door, I must have made him remember things that he didn't want to recall. I suddenly felt guilty about it.

I limped to his bedroom door and knocked,"I'm sorry-"

"Just go."

I sighed and went into the bathroom to shower. I stripped off my clothes and walked into the streams of cold water. God dammit.

"What the fuck is happening!?" I growled as I punched the wall. Hard, but hard enough to bruise my knuckles.

The doorbell suddenly rang and I heard Gary's footsteps.

"Uncle Gary!" I heard my children squeal.

I smiled and walked out of the shower and quickly brushed my teeth.

"Daddy!" Karmin giggled as she ran into my arms.

The 6 year old had started to grow out of the little bob she had at her mother's wedding.

"How's my little princess?" I chuckled as I ruffled her head. She only pouted in response, she hated when I did that.

I put her down and she quickly fixed her hair. She was too smart for her own good.

"Papa!" Mason jumped as he saw me.

"Hey champ! Where's your mom?"

"She's with Uncle Gary." Karmin quickly answered.

I kissed both of the children on their foreheads. I knocked on Gary's bedroom door only to have Dawn open the door.

Today she had her hair in a sock bun, with a white blouse and a black pencil skirt.

"Hey Trevor." She beamed a smile.

"Hi." I grinned.

"So how's Amber?" I asked.

"She's doing fine. She's at work right now." I watched as her eyes filled with compassion as she talked about her wife.

"Good to know." I smiled a sad smile.

Dawn

I knew Trevor was still not over me getting married to Amber. And it made me sad knowing that he's not happy.

"You know what? Let's go to a strip club tonight." I smiled.

"What?" Trevor said.

"You heard me. Tonight. Strip club. Just you and I." I smirked.

"Are you sure?" Trevor asked hesitantly.

"I could get someone to babysit the kids." I shrugged."So why not?"

"Alright. It's a date-wait no it's not a date. Well-you know what I mean." He grinned.

I nodded and proceeded to the front door,"I'll come back later to pick the kids up! Ciao!"
