A Dream That Never Sleeps

i will be there
even if it's not necessary;
i'm intoxicated,
that i can confess,

your halo
is all that i'm asking for
it masks all the holes in the sky
with heavenly creatures,

give me that green light
and i'll come with you
into a sky full of stars;
our atlas of true love,

baby you, so softly,
reach me with your lullaby,
let's believe in miracles in December;
don't say goodbye once again,

no empty spaces
or hitting erase or rewind;
heartache will evanesce
for we are a dream that never sleeps.
