drowning, my lungs have collapsed,
no air within this dark night,
stars, veiled where they used to be,
calling beyond those limits named
infinity, i'm lost, deserted and alone,
nobody left to touch my cold bones,
forever whispering a name already
foreign to my tongue,
drowning, my lungs breathe water –
no air within this dark night
