"Justin where am I going?" She asked holding onto his hand, since he was leading the way.
"Just trust me baby." He replied and held her a bit tighter not wanting her to trip over anything.
"How much longer do I have to keep this blindfold on for?" She questioned, oblivious to everything in her surroundings.
"We're almost there...... annnnd we're here!" He stopped her in front of where their first 'official' date, would take place.
Trying to be the most romantic and normal that he possibly could,he thought it would be a great idea to create a 'movie theater' in his own backyard.
He had planned everything two days in advance perfectly, to make sure that he wasn't missing anything.
---
There was Christmas lights hanging on the huge oak tree in his backyard that created the - what he would call - 'lovey dovy' atmosphere; there we're two mattress-like chairs set up on the grass put side by side creating a huge one, that they would both share comfortably; a projector set up on the deck with a home theater system that surrounded them; a screen where her favourite movie 'Mean Girls', would play. Two bowls of popcorn were put on each side of the chairs and drinks were on the deck.
He wasn't the biggest fan of Mean Girls, but if it meant seeing a smile or hearing his girl laugh, he would do it in a heartbeat.
He was a people pleaser, he didn't feel ultimately happy until everyone who he loved, was.
"Can I take this off now?" She asked getting ready to take it off.
"Oh yeah! Let me help you with that." He had been so mesmerized by the view and how it turned out, he completely forgot that Skyler was standing there with a blindfold waiting for him to take it off. He rushed over to her and helped her take off the blindfold.
"Oh my-- Justin..What?" She was left speechless at the generous gesture that her loving boyfriend had done for her.
She never felt more appreciated, wanted ... loved. No one had ever done something this exquisite for her - not even Brandon.
It was at this moment, where she fell in love with him more, even though she thought it weren't possible.
She looked up at him, awaiting an answer as to how he could have possibly done this for her.
He simply smiled at her and gave her a quick kiss. "Skyler, I've never loved anyone more than how I love you. I needed a way of showing you, so maybe this isn't the best way of expressing my love - a movie in my backyard - but it's the thought that counts?" He blushed at his own cheesiness.
"You're adorable." She smugly smiled and stood on her tippy toes giving Justin a kiss on the cheek.
"I am not cute." He pouted and defended. He didn't like being called adorable, cute - something that you would call a baby.
"Yes, you are." She continued teasing him.
"Nope." He crossed his arms and stood tall trying to create a tougher build.
