Hailey

I knocked on Pattie's door as I held a giggling Drew in my arms. Taylor has once again spiked him to the max and given him tons of candy because of which he was on a sugar high. And he kept struggling in my arms.

The door finally opened and our peeked pattie's friendly face. Even though her son was with another woman, Pattie and I still met continuously. She loves Drew, her first grandson, to bits and pieces.

"Hailey, Drew, what a surprise hon." Pattie spoke sweetly.

"I'm sorry I came unannounced but I just had to talk to you about the schedule and everything and about Drew.." I spoke softly.

"Sure dear come in." Pattie spoke warmly. Even though she spoke normally her expression was one I couldn't place. She seemed.... nervous and uncomfortable?

I shrugged it off and entered Patties house, the smell of spaghetti instantly hitting my nostrils.

"Ooh is that spaghetti I smell?" I ask and Pattie chuckled nodding. She knew spaghetti was my personal favourite. Especially the spaghetti she made.

As we made our way to the kitchen Pattie seemed tense which scared me. What was wrong with her. Was she worried about something?

Just as I was about to open my mouth and ask her we entered the kitchen and I saw someone I thought u would never see in person again.

"Hailey.." he gasped as he got up from his stool. Pattie looked at me and mumbled a sorry and I nodded in her direction to tell her it was okay.

Justin's eyes looked beside me at my hands which were holding Drew's hands as he looked around the house.

"Is that..?" Justin whispered lowly. I nodded.

"Drew.." Justin spoke softly making Drew look over at him curiously. Pattie had left the room now.

Justin knelt down and called Drew over to him but he only got scared and hid behind my legs  making Justin's arms fall to his side.

"Drew, c'mon baby, no need to be scared honey." I said kneeling down to his height. Drew cane close to my ear to whisper something and Justin looked at us intently.

"Mommy is he nice..?" drew whispered making me smile at him sadly.

"Yeah, he's very nice Drew.. go talk to him." I whispered back to him. Okay I should go all out. No one should be revealing this to a 4 year old but I have to.

"Drew honey.. this is Daddy." I said pointing at Justin as Justin looked at drew and opened his arms.

Drew looked at me and then Justin and the me again "Daddy?" He asked pointing to Justin and I nodded.

"DADDY!" He shouted gleefully as he ran up to Justin to tackle him into a hug. I smiled as tears came to my eyes watching them hug. Drew yearned for a father. Since he started talking and started to understand better he's started to ask me about his dad and I'd always brush it off.

"Hey buddy.." Justin spoke to drew softly.

"Hi daddy." Drew spoke shyly.

"Hey big boy. Can daddy have a kiss?" Justin asked Drew. Drew gave him two big kisses on both of his cheeks making me cry and my heart melted.

Justin finally looked over at me and said a little thank you and I smiled and nodded at him.

Drew has finally met his father but this wasn't a happy ending just yet...
