My mom had told me four months before she died about escaping through the Underground Railroad. While the others are sleeping I sneak out through the window. They don't notice because I am always rustling around. I start to walk between the bushes and water to hide myself and mask my scent. I've followed the North Star and I got to the Ohio River, where I build a small raft to get across. From there I have gone to a Safe House, which takes me to Northern Ohio in a covered wagon.
