Say You Love Me

Part 16

*Y/N's POV* 

I gasped, as I saw Niall punch Louis.

"Niall stop it!" I yell at him.

Niall's actions slows down, and he looks down. "I'm sorry." He apologizes.

Louis looks at him, a purple bruise covering his eye, already.

"It's alright. I should be the one saying sorry." Louis sighs.

"I'll just get the ice..." I say, walking to the kitchen, getting the ice from the freezer.

I place it in a Ziploc, and I cover it with paper towel. 

I go back in the living room, and I see Niall, and Kally laughing. Louis sitting all alone on the couch.

"Hey!" I say, loudly, making all three of them flinch.

"Here's your ice, Lou." I hand it over to Louis.

He mumbles a quick thank you, and the four of us continue Truth or Dare.

Ding Dong...

"I'll get it!" Kally says.

She opens the door, and her jaw drops.

I stand up, and I stand beside Kally, and then, my jaw drops too.

"Holy..." I start.

"Balls..." Kally finishes.

"Liam... What are you doing here?" I ask him, and my eyes turn towards the girl.

"More importantly, what is Danielle Peazer doing here? Holy bananas." Kally's eyes sparkle.

"We decided to join you guys." Liam shrugs.

"Yeah, my boyfriend here, practically begged me." Danielle laughs.

Boyfriend? "Boyfriend?" My eyes widen.

A sudden pang of jealousy hits me.

"Yeah, I'm surprised too. He just asked me 5 minutes ago." Danielle chuckles.

"Oh." I press my lips together to a thin line.

I look over at Liam who looks a little guilty. "I'm sorry." He mouths out to me.

Danielle looks at Liam and I, confused. "Umm.. I think I should leave you two to talk.." She says.

Kally nods, and she grabs ahold of Danielle's arm, and pulls her in the living room.

I walk out to the porch with Liam, closing the door behind us.

"A girlfriend?" I scoff.

"I'm sorry." He apologizes.

"It's fine. There's no reason for me to be jealous, anyway." I lie.

"You're jealous?" He smiles, amused.

"Shut up." I smirk. "But seriously... A girlfriend! On the same day we broke up!" 

"If you can get a boyfriend, why can't I get a girlfriend?! And you also got a boyfriend on the day we broke up! But let's be honest now, we were never together. That whole dating thing was never real because you didn't even really love me." Liam argues.

"Liam! Louis' my boyfriend now, because you told me to! And of course I loved you! I didn't love you as much as I did with Louis, but I still did!" I start to tear up.

"No, Y/N, you never loved me, okay? Just be true to yourself." He scoffs.

"How do I know you're not being true to yourself, either? You just want to make yourself think that I never loved you, even if you know I did." I start crying. I did love Liam. I just feel so offended that he thinks I never did.

"Y/N, stop crying... Please.. I don't want you to cry, please. And if you really did love me, why would you let me go?" 

"I didn't. You were the one that let me go."
