I had seen a familiar face when I brought in brandon but brushed it off.
Sure in enough it was who I thought it was Makayla Lamborio Belorum. Guess what she was on my list. Me and her had been best friends for years and were very close. Or so I thought she very much lied to my face and didn't like to admit it and instead said she changed. Makayla had gotten a boyfriend and so had another person in our friend group. Sure enough they bonded and I felt left out. But didn't really show it. I had said it many times but it just started drama most of the time when I brought it up so, I kept my mouth shut and made smug comments here and there. We went to the park once, all together and I had brought it up because I missed being with her, maybe I came off as clingy. She said the words that still ring in my head to this day "You said you don't care. .. A true friend would support me!" The words hurt and I couldn't let them go. They were like sharp needles. Yet there she was in the waiting room looking at her phone just like she always did. I had cut off things with her or so I tried, she was in our friend group so how could I avoid her. Although she made me sad I had my best friend Jackie. Jackie knew how she hurt me and when I was sad. I really loved her for that which is why we are still friends to this day. I was happy to leave the school and don't regret it. As it was best for me and my future. I was called out from my flashback as my pen fell to the floor. I picked it up and called her name. "Makayla Lamborio"
I said ever so loud. She stood up and looked up at me. Not recognizing me since I had cut my hair and matured yet she hadn't, and still looked 12. I walked her into my room and started her check up. Trying not to cry as much as it hurt. Barley making eye contact with her. I will only be a dentist nothing more nothing less.Oof this was a hard one.
Well baiiiii
