"Brandon arreaga " I said loud and clear. A young man who looked about my age stood up. He had glasses and broad shoulders. "Hey" he said barley above a whisper. We walked to my little room in silence.
" Why are you here today Brandon" I said starting my procedure. " Just a daily check up" he said lightning up. He looked cute but I couldn't look at him like that since he was my patient and only that.
" So, brandon how is life" I said trying to make small talk as I am very much a chatter box. " Very well, actually" he said trying to still talk as I was sticking my utensils in his mouth.
" Well actually I have one question" he said looking up at the ceiling. "Shoot" I said genuinely curious. " You look very young to be a dentist, how old are you?" He said
"Well, I'm about the same age as you 19 I'm guessing for you. I umm graduated early as I had a vey high I.Q. " I said reaching down a little further in his mouth. Which had a nice smell of mint.
" Ohh" he said
intrigued. " Well you're all done Brandon" I said taking off my plastic gloves. He stood up and scratched his head " Can I umm, get your number" he said " Yeah sure why not" said taking his phone and putting my contact as "dentist friend😁" cause I was bored. We walked back to the waiting room and chatted on the way there. " Well, see you later" he said throwing up peace signs as he left. I chuckled softly and checked my clipboard.
" Makayla Lamborio "
I will only be a dentist nothing more nothing less.
