Ch. 1: Following a Hero's Voyage!

    The Sinnoh Region! A breathtaking, awe-inspiring corner of the Pokémon world, complete with an amazing array of Pokémon! Soaring through the air, gliding through the water, thriving on the land, and sharing the land with all sorts of people working and playing together. The training! The battles!

A sixteenth birthday is a happily anticipated milestone in many young people's lives! Because after that day, their Pokémon journey begins, complete with a new Pokémon as partner! And (Y/N) (L/N) is one of those people, as his 16th birthday has come and gone, and his Pokémon now waits in the wings!

FOLLOWING A HERO'S VOYAGE!

    

    It was one early morning in Sandgem Town as a flock of Starly flew over the houses. In one of these homes lied a young man in his bed, dreaming of battling in the Pokémon League. Unbeknownst to him, his alarm clock has been going off, and he hasn't been waking! Oh no, what can this mean for our new hero?

    Soon, footsteps can be heard outside the boys door as his mother comes up to check on him. She walks in only to find him still asleep.

Mom: (Y/N), sweetie, time to get up. You don't want to miss your big day!

    She throws the blanket off him as he begins to stir. He sits up, still groggy eyed and his (H/C) hair messy as can be. He blinks his (E/C) eyes a couple times to check the time.

Mom: Its 11:30 in the morning sweetie. You've been snoozing past your alarm clock.

(Y/N): What?! Aw man, I must been up too late last night daydreaming about my first Pokémon!

    Now fully awake, (Y/N) jumps out of bed and rushes to the bathroom. With no time to take a shower, he quickly brushes his teeth and gets changed into clean clothes, all at the same time.

(Y/N): Why didn't you wake me earlier when you didn't see me come down?!

Mom: Well, I thought you had already left since you're usually on top of things. I only came up here to grab your dirty clothes basket.

    He groans as he searches his room for his favorite hat. He then hears his mom whistle for his attention by the door. He turns to find her smirking and holding his hat by her finger.

Mom: Looking for this?

    She giggles as he yanks it from her finger while bursting down the stairs, headed for the front door. His mother calls out to him.

Mom: See you later!

    He leaves his home with no time to take in the lovely scenery of Sandgem. Instead, he sprints for the famous Professor Rowan's Laboratory at the edge of town, where he is currently an assistant there. Well, until today, that is. On this day, (Y/N) (L/N) is to get his very first Pokémon!

    When he finally reaches the laboratory, he finds Professor Rowan waiting for him outside carrying a suitcase and wearing a trench coat. (Y/N) comes to a halt in front of the professor and is panting heavily.

Rowan: I was wondering when you'd show up.

    Rowan had a gruff voice, one you'd expect from looking at him. However, despite his appearance, the old man can be very caring and thoughtful to others.
