"I know you like me Annalise" I told her.
Her face changes, changes to anger which hurts me.
"Me? Like you? Oh please Oliver, you're just fooling yourself. You're a cunt, I would never like you" she spat.
Hearing those words really did hurt but I had to act like they don't. So I walk off. When am I gonna stop being an asshole? Ugh. I don't know. She's so beautiful & her name it's perfect. I just wish she knew I liked her. Things will be so much better. I can't stand seeing her like that.
I get in my car and drive home.
"Mom! I'm home!"
"I'm upstairs, your friend Matt is here" she replied.
I saw my friend Matt come downstairs. "Hey mate, how'd it go with Anna. Still being a twat?" He joked. I just stared at him then replied " yeah.." I can tell on his face he felt bad, but he shouldn't. I'm the one doing this to her. I'm the one being an asshole. She doesn't deserve that.
