•"THIS IS MAGNIFICENT." was all Irene could have ever enunciated upon her arrival in the emperor of the Fates— her blue irises glazing over the interiors of white and gold, an endless cascading white threads designated over the walls as it met its end along the marbled floor yet above her, was another tendril of golden threads; giving the impression of a massive chandelier as it were tied into knots of one another before it flowed into another thread that was made out of rose gold, circling around the golden threads.
The threads were specifically made by the Fates; Astoria, Desiree and Lyla. However, they were not apart of the deities back in Mount Olympus yet they were the deity of their own— sewing threads of one's lifetime, deciding the fates of immortals and mortals that lived through the century as the power of one person's existence was in the palm of their hands. Therefore, Irene had took the liberty to give the Fates a visit, as she was undeniably close with them ever since she was brought here by the age of 9 with her mother, Aphrodite.
"Isn't it, my darling?" one of the Fates, namely Astoria, had sauntered over the jovial goddess as she reciprocated a complacent smile that the younger was more gladly to retaliate with a beautiful grin. Irene had her eyes lingered upon the golden threads above her, tenuring a hint of curiosity before leering her head to only prod a brusque query regarding about the golden and rose gold threads that were separated away from the white threads, "Why does the golden seemed more special than the whites, Astoria?".
"Those, Lady Irene, is your family's thread. The golden threads represent each gods and goddesses in your family." Astoria replied, holding out her hand with a finger pointing out to the golden threads as she made an imaginary trace along its roots, "The rose gold are yours, the children of the Olympians. As you can see, my darling, the deities had been fated with one another— as an example, your mother Aphrodite. Take a look at her thread." Once again, Irene brought her gaze back upon the eminent golden threads and it drove her into completely befuddlement as she was unable to relocate the threads that belonged to her mother.
Astoria, discerning the goddess' inability, had slowly reached out for the goddess' finger as she pointed it upwards— directing it right upon her mother's thread that was at the southern end of the replicated chandelier, "Aphrodite's thread was connected with five golden threads before another three white threads had reconnected by the knot. The five golden threads belongs to Ares, Hephaestus, Dionysus, Hermes and Poseidon whilst the white threads belongs to three mortals, Adonis, Anchises and lastly, your father."
Her eyes wandered off to a knot that was conjoined together between her parents, resulting another thread in the colour of rose gold that flowed downwards that only made the goddess left astounded— her thread was knotted with one singular white thread, that she had not foreseen and her inquisitive self was drowning into her waving thoughts and emotions that raged her perturbed. "Is that mine?" the goddess found herself blurting out the question that she had been bottling inside of her once she had detected her very own thread that somehow, had been knotted with a mortal's thread.
"Yes, it is yours. However my darling, you're special out of all the rose gold threads that my sisters and I had sewn— yours were knotted with only one thread, which belongs to a mortal while the others, let's just say that they're following the footsteps of their parents." Astoria had a smile across her glowing face as she held out her hand, summoning the white thread to her palm before gingerly placing it onto the goddess' hands that were now jittery due to the fact that she was holding the fate of her destined other half, "His name is Kim Jongin, fated to spend your eternity with him."
"K-Kim Jongin? A mortal?"
"Yes, my darling. Both of you are bound to be with each other and I believe he will meet you very soon enough."
"I believe so too..."

A/N:How'd you like it?🤔
These days, I've been immersing myself with Mythology in which I found it very interesting yet entertaining at the same time! I really enjoyed myself reading the myths of the ancient greek and I couldn't help myself but to publish a fanfiction based on the myths that I've learned😣 But heads up! I will not write a 100% based on the facts in mythology, as I also sometimes find it very confusing and I do not wish my readers to be confused throughout the whole story.
Please let me know if you need a guide about the ancient gods for a better understanding in this story!
Don't forget to vote, comment or follow me for more updates<3 that way I would know if you're interested in this fanfiction!P/S: this is like a whole new experience for me because I had never wrote anything fantasy or based on myths! hwaiting to myself:"D
