Chapter 10

Jennie's POV

Last day before the Christmas vacation means deadline day for the requirements given by our professors. A lot of students are scattered around the campus. Some with their friends, some are alone still making their paper works, some are just chitchatting, and some are on the way to finally start their vacation. Since it is the last day, the students just needed to pass their school works. No regular class, so they can leave the university whenever they wanted to.

That scenario is unlikely to happen for the student council officers. After passing my paper works I immediately go to the school director's office to present to him our plans for the incoming party. Our university has this like 'Resume-to-class' party every after Christmas vacation instead of having Christmas party. The reason for that is some of the students here have different religions so for everyone to enjoy the party the 'Resume-to-class' party happened every year.

The student council already talked about the said event last time when the dance competition happened. Here we are in the school director's office for him to see our proposal.

"Do we have enough budget for this event?" Mr. Yang asked.

"Yes, sir. As a matter of fact, the fund raising we did last foundation day exceed the expected income that we can gather from that event. Here is the proposal paper and we already put the overall budge division at the last page." I said to him then hand him the proposal letter and paper.

So the officers thought of having a Coachella themed party for this year and we do really need a huge amount of money to conduct this kind of theme because aside from the food, drinks, singers, set ups, tickets, sound system, and lights we need to put a mini carnival inside the university which is really difficult to achieve if we don't have enough money. Like what I've said to Mr. Yang we have much budget for this event and I'm sure that we can organize it.

After reading the papers and asking some questions, Mr. Yang accepted our proposal without any needed revisions. The SC head out from his office and go to our meeting room. As the president of the student council I do the honor of distributing the tasks for every officer and of course with their approval. I make sure that we have can equal task as much as possible. We discuss everything because this is the last major meeting before the event. I'm sure that I cannot gather them all when the vacation starts. After finalizing everything, we bid our goodbye and go to our own way.

There are few students roaming around the campus because it is already quarter to 4 in the afternoon. I go to the parking lot and look for our driver. Good thing there are no much cars so I easily spotted our car. Lisa was the one who drove me to the university and after she passed what she needed to pass I asked her to go to her friends and don't wait for me but because she is Lisa 'Hardheaded' Manoban it look me a lot of push before she finally go to her friends.

I enter our car and asked our driver to drop me at Nayeon's Café. I will meet her together with our three other friends. They are my friends since junior high school, named Nayeon, Sana, Tzuyu, and Yeri. The first three are currently studying at JYPU while Yeri is at SMU same university as Irene unnie and Seulgi.

It is kind a long time ago when we had our 'decent' hang out. What I mean by 'decent' is you know a typical hang out where you guys just talk, eat, laugh, have fun, etc. it was not a long time ago when we saw each other but we didn't have enough time to hang out. We just watched Yeri's football game then after that we went home because we don't have much time because we all have to finish our respective school works. So we decided to hang out once we're on vacation and that is today.

"We're here Ms. Jennie." Our family driver informed me.

I get my pouch and cell phone then prepare myself to leave.
