It was turning spring, flowers were blooming, grass regaining it's color, trees getting leaves. It was all so beautiful. For once everyone stayed asleep, quietly nobody was snoring, yelling, falling, or waking up. I was curious of what was happening, but didn't question anything. I moved from my bed leaving Stiles, to make coffee. French vanilla coffee sounded so good with a hot shower afterwards. Morgan obviously loved the coffee as well. I made her a mug, right when I added the French vanilla she walked in the kitchen. "It's been such a peaceful morning, nobody snoring, yelling, falling from yelling. Just quiet." She said smiling. "I know I'm so glad too, but after coffee and I take a shower would you wanna go on a quick jog with me?" I asked sitting down my mug. Morgan took a sip of coffee and lowered her mug not placing it on the table. "I'd love to go. Let me know when you're ready." She said turning away taking her coffee with her. I turned off the kitchen light, as I turned around to go to my room there stood Stiles. I almost screamed, but didn't. My heart was pounding but stopped a few moments later. "I swear I hate when you do that shit!" I yelled but not too loud. He smiled, "I'm sorry." He said. Who could ever be mad at a face like that? Well let's see I thought to myself. There's Finstock, his dad, Derek, Morgan, wow there's a long list. "It's fine, do you want some coffee or anything to eat?" I asked grabbing a grapefruit off the counter. "Yeah I'll have chicken, biscuits, gravy, hash browns, ooh and those tiny little sausage pieces in the gravy." He said smiling. "Anything else?" I asked. "Oh and a small bowl of bacon." He grinned. "Sweetheart," I started. "You are so cute. Let me know when it's ready." I said walking off. He stood there with a confused look on his face. I smiled and walked back over to him giving him a hug. "I'd rather not cook, I'll go get you something though." I offered. He smiled and put some shoes on, I followed behind him. We went to McDonald's. Stiles ordered his breakfast and already knew what I wanted. We got our food and went back to the house. I got another cup of coffee and we went upstairs to my room, The Powerpuff Girls was on. We watched it until we got tired again. I threw away the bag and wrappers. I got back in bed, Stiles had his arm stretched across my pillow thinking we would cuddle after eating. He's funny. Morgan was up. I completely forgot our jog. I got up and put on some shorts and my nikes. I met her downstairs. We went out for a hour jog. It was great.
When we got back Morgan's Jeep was gone. We ran to the front door, it was locked. I went to the garage the door was open, we ran in the house looking for Stiles Scott and Derek. We found them in the kitchen, eating. They were eating left over Chinese food for breakfast. "Where's my jeep?" Morgan asked angry. "It's at Stiles'." Scott said. "Why?" She asked. "Because we drove it, then parked at Stiles'." Scott said. Morgan walked over to his house and drove her Jeep back to the house. She walked in the house and went upstairs. She went back to sleep. Derek didn't even bother going after her. She plugged up her phone and turned over facing the window, her phone tweeted. It was a text from one of her old friends she used to go to school with when she was in 6th grade.
Hey, I know we haven't talked in about 5 or 6 years, but you were on my mind. Morgan I miss you, I miss being your best friend. Think about texting me something back please, this is Jordan.
Morgan stared at the text not knowing whether she should text back or not. She laid her phone on the night table and went to sleep. She wondered why Jordan was texting her. I walked in her room. "Dude we have to talk, it's important and it's about Isaac." I said. She raised up from her bed and made room for me to sit. "What is it?" She asked. "It's a long story, but Isaac wanted to tell you." I said. Isaac walked in her room, I walked out closing the door. "So, I'm just gonna come right out and tell you. But please don't be mad at me, I just found out about a day ago." He said. "Morgan I'm not your actual brother, not your half brother, I'm nothing to you family wise. But don't be mad." Isaac finished. "What are you talking about? How are you not my brother? We've lived together since we were both born. Isaac who told you?" She asked. "Mom. Mom told me. We're not related in anyway. I'm sorry, it hurt me too and it still does." He said ready to cry. Morgan was already crying. Everything she was told has been a lie. She got up and went to Derek. "What's wrong Morgan?" He asked dropping a knife he was using to cut an apple. "Isaac." She said, she said nothing else. She grabbed her keys and walked out the door. Of course I ran after her, I stopped her before she reached her Jeep. "Morgan, don't drive. It's not a good thing right now. You need to talk to your mom and dad. Not run away well drive away." I said. She cracked a smile but it didn't last too long. "It just hurts, why would they not tell us? Why would they treat us like we were related?" She asked. "Really, I don't know. But talk to them about it. but there's something you need to know." I told her. "What now?" She asked. "Isaac, he actually loves you. Not in a brother sister way, in a relationship way." I told her. She didn't say anything. She never thought of Isaac that way of course who would? But still it didn't change the fact that she's lived her life thinking he's her brother. We packed a few bags, we got out of town for two nights. She needed it more than anything.
