Hiding Place

Chapter 1

"Mom, I wanted to go there. I see a lot of kids playing" I whined

"I know Alara. May mata ako" pang-iinis pa nya

My mom is really OA nag papaalam lang na lumabas para makipaglaro sa mga kapwa ko bata pero ayaw nya ako'ng payagan, sa susunod na lang daw kapag may time na sya. I can take care of myself naman. I am a big girl na. We just moved to this place, and I am getting board.

"Mommy I know you have eyes, dalawa pa nga eh. But I am bored already. I organised my things at my room, tapos na po lahat. So please payagan mo na po ako" I pleaded

"Baka kung ano na naman gawin mo dun dahil wala ako Alara." nilakihan nya pa yung mata nya para ipaalala sakin kung ano yung nagawa ko sa classmate ko.

"Mom! I will not do that again. I explained everything kaya ko nagawa yun"

"And besides buti nga sa buhok ko lang dinikit yung bubble gum eh. Samantalang ako pumasok ng madumi yung uniform dahil sa bike nya na bulok" pagdadahilan ko

"Alara Felize! Watch your mouth" 

"I'm already sorry " pagtatanggol sa sarili

"Pero nakalbo si Ygot" paliwanag nya

"But it suits to her Mommy" 

Its Ygot's fault. Papasok pa lang ako sa school that time ng dumaan sya sakay ng bisekleta nya'ng bulok. It's really fast kaya natalsikan ng potek ang suot ko na school uniform. Tapos pagkapasok ko sa classroom inasar nya pa ako, nag lilider-leader-an ang bruhilda. Kaya naisip ko na idikit sa buhok nya yung bubble gum ko. Di ata sya ligo kaya mabilis dumikit. Ayun kinalbo ng mama nya.

Mom scolded me because of what I have did. Now I am grounded.

"Mom. Please. We already make a deal. I will be a good girl na po. Alam ko po na mali yung ginawa ko. At hindi ko na po uulitin Mommy." I sincerely said to her

"Alright. Just get home before 4pm. Okay?"

My mood lighten up. I hug her. She's the best mom.

I was amazed when I came to the place. This place is amazing, there's a lot of kids playing and it is fully secured.

"Good Afternoon Sir" then I salute kay kuya'ng body guard

Pinagmasdan ko yung ibang bata na naglalaro. They are reallly happy here. I guess this was a good place talaga.  Napansin ko yung swing, it has a lot of spaces pa. I saw a girl like me.  Dire-diretso akong umupo sa available seat sa dulo.  

"Hello, my name is Allara Felize" nakangiti ko na pakilala sa bata habang nag e-enjoy na ako sa pag swing

"That seat has already been occupied" omg ang soft ng voice nya

Lumingon lingon ako. Nagtataka, wala naman tao eh.

"Ahm, wala ako nakikita na nakaupo?" naguguluhan

"I know, but my friends are coming. That seat is for Crispin"

Before I ask a lot of questions. Someone already called her. And four kids like me, walking toward us.

"Eli! Why are you so early again?" a boy taken the other seat next to her

"I am on time Nezer, you are the one who is always late.  I was excited to play it's  been a long time since we play here" she explained to the boy

"Someone steal the seat of Crispin" sabay turo nya saken.

Sabay sabay sila tumingin saken. Oh no. 

One of the girl, walked towards me. "Hi, I am Katnis Hope" she smiled sweetly

"Are you new here?" she asked. 

"Yes. My name is Alara Felize. You can call me Alara"

"Hi Alara. These are my friend. Brielle , Nezer and Raiden" sabay turo nya sa isang boy na nakatayo lang sa tabi nya. 

"I didn't steal the seat. I was trying to enjoy swinging. And besides wala akong nakikitang name" I explained

Raiden laughed. Anong nakakatawa? Baliw ba sya?

"If I were you, humanap ka na lang ng ibang place kung saan mag si-swing. Dito kami nakapwesto" mayabang na sabi nya. Hmp.

"Raiden! Stop. That was rude" Awat ni Katnis

"I am sorry Alara. You can take that seat. I'll just explain it with Crispin kapag dumating na sya." she smiled again. 

"Whatever" Raiden blurted. Tiningnan lang sya ng masama ni Katnis

While Katnis asking me some questions. Nezer excitedly stand up para salubungin yung isang bata na paparating.

"You are late again. Wala ka ng swing" sabay tawa mukang nang aasar.

"Someone stole the seats" dagdag ni Raiden

"Boys stop" Brielle interrupted them.

Unti- unting lumapit yung batang lalaki sa pwesto ko. Pawisan pa kakatakbo. 

"That's my seat" he said

"I don't see name?" I blurted, boys laughed. I hear them teasing the boy

"Everyone knows that this place ---"

"I am new here. So exempted ako." 

"Crispin just give it to her, besides you are late" Katnis told to him

"Katnis ---- " magdadahilan pa sana sya but she  glared at him. 

"Alright. You can take the seat" sabay upo nya sa ground. 

"I'll just watch you guys" sabi pa nya.

"We can share Crispin" sabi ni Nezer

"Ayoko, laki ng pwet mo" 

Nagtawanan kami lahat.
