Chapter 2

~Tyler's POV~

All my things are packed up and we are currently in the car on our way to Shaun's house. I'm so excited to meet Troye and Sage but I'm gonna miss my friends a lot. The mallet house hold is a hour and a half away from my home, school, and life. My mom said we could visit a lot though.

~1 hour later~

Jackie: *taps shoulder* Ty we I'll be there in 10 you should get up now.

I apparently fell asleep. Then I realize that I spent almost an hour on my hair this morning. I say up quickly causing a headache and flicked open the mirror. Meh not too bad. I get to work on moulding my hair into its perfect purple quiff.

Jackie:calm down honey we will be there in 5 minutes.

She joked and I just rolled my eyes. My hair took 40 minutes this morning and it had to be perfect. Just as I close the car mirror we pull into this long driveway that leads to a really big house. Well I consider it big compared to my last house. I see Shaun and Sage standing outside but no Troye. I wonder where he is? Oh well.

My mom gets out of the car first as Shaun greets her. I walk to the back of the car and get some of our stuff.

Shaun: Tyler don't worry about it I'll get that for you.

I nod and I was fine with this because less work for me. Sage walks over to me and is twirling her hair on a finger.

Sage: Hey Tyler!

Tyler: Hello Sage!

Sage: I really love that shirt on you.

She says while touching my arms and stomach

Tyler: Thanks? Well I'm gonna go help Shaun now see you later!

Okay well that was weird... I grab a couple of bags and walk to the front door. I am waiting for Shaun as he i s still talking to my mom about sleeping arrangements.

Shaun: follow me I'll show you to your room!

Tyler: Alrighty!

Shaun leads me up a staircase to the second floor. There are two doors on the left and two on the right.

Shaun: On the right is the bathrooms and on the left are the bedrooms. Yours is the one closest to the stairs and across the hall is your bathroom got it?

He asks with a warm smile

Tyler: Thank you so much Shaun!

Shaun: Its no problem bud!

Shaun leaves back downstairs and I enter my room. It's pretty plain but I was told I could decorate however I wanted. I set my stuff on the bed and begin unpacking. Halfway through I get called down for dinner. I walk down to see everyone sitting at the table but Troye. Where is this boy?

Sage: Ty! Come sit with me!

I slowly walk over to where Sage is sitting and sit next to her. She scoots her chair closer and rests her hand on my knee. I'm really starting to think she likes me. Just as she starts to move her hand upwards we hear the patter of feet on the wooden stairs. The most beautiful human I have ever seen comes down with phone in hand looking down on it.

Shaun: Thanks for joining us Troye.

Troye: Huh?

He says looking up and eyes widen when he sees my mom and I.

Troye: wait I thought they were not coming for another couple days..

He says sounding really confused

Shaun: Well Troye, if you ever came out of your room or were home you would know that they came today.

Troye lets out a little oh and sits down. We start talking about me and my friends back home. Sage seems to have given up on touching me by now which is good but I can't concentrate on what I am trying to say because of the perfect boy in front of me. How is this not illegal?!

After dinner, Shaun decides that Troye and I need to have a little one on one time to get to know each other. Troye gets up and I follow him. We end up in his room which is almost as perfect as him! The fairy lights are what really tie everything together.

He sits on his bed and I stand there awkwardly by the door. He looks at me like I'm crazy and tells me to come sit down.

Tyler: Soooo

Troye: You don't have to be so awkward around me you know right? Just treat me like I'm one of your friends.

I just nod and he takes out his phone which vibrated indicating he had a text. When he saw who it was from his face immediately lit up. I wonder who this is?

After he puts his phone away we talk about our hobbies and interests. I learn that he is super popular and has a boyfriend named Joey. He likes the colour purple and can sing.

I was so excited to hear that he was gay but didn't like the fact he has a boyfriend. Not that we could ever be a thing but I can still dream.
