"Fight back!" A soldier cried out, as he fired his wispon. The soldiers kept firing, hoping that the dark figure would be held back. "There is no reason to resist. Your savior is no more." The dark figure stated as he fired a beam of energy, making them and their efforts are blown away. A young she-wolf was hiding behind some rubble, whimpering and covering her ears. A weapon landed at her feet. She hesitantly got up and was about to grab the weapon.

"I can taste your terror child", He said sadistically, the silver wolf stumbled a bit. She struggled to grab the wispon as she looked at the dark figure with fear. She tremble as she aimed the wispon at him. "All that anxiety and doubt." His words made the she-wolf tremble even more, "It's delicious." He fired a beam that nearly hit her, causing her to fall and drop the weapon.

"Give in to your fear, flee, screaming, and I'll let you live," He stated as he started to chuckle. His chuckles turned into laughter as the silver wolf looked at him with eyes full fear and hopelessness.

The silver wolf struggled to get up, she felt her legs become jelly. With her tail between her legs, she ran and never looked back. The dark figure's evil laughter ranged in her ears. Tears started to blur her vision, they started to fall down her muzzle as if they were a waterfall. She ran through the city. Not really giving a damn of where she is going, as long as she is away from the dark figure. Her legs, lungs burned, they were begging her to stop. She stopped at an empty ally to catch her breath. Her legs gave out, she finally realized how tired she was. Her muscles ache, she had small cuts and bruised on her arms and legs. There she sat on the ground, tears still stained on her cheeks.

Her eyes started to droop. She fought to stay awake, but slowly sleep consumed her body. "I'm sorry, Apollo", she whimpered. Her eyes blinked slowly, finally losing consciousness.

"Hey, kid!"

"There is no sign of survivors", A blonde hedgehog said in her earpiece. Her lime green eyes scanned the empty battleground sadly. "Keep searching Rebel!" A voiced ordered back. The hedgehog, Rebel, sighed, "Roger that!" Rebel started to look around the area some more. As she kept on searching, she saw something in her peripheral vision. She looked in the dark, empty alleyway and saw a female wolf with silver fur. The wolf had black messy bangs. She was wearing a sky blue jacket, had a black jumpsuit on with blue and white shoes. "Hey, kid!" She called out. No response, "Dammit!" She thought as she ran over to the unconscious wolf, "Please be alive!" Rebel took the wolf's wrist and checked her pulse. The pulse was there, slightly faint, but there. The blonde hedgehog sighed with relief, "Thank Chaos!"

"We have a survivor!" Rebel said in her earpiece, she picked up the wolf and put the she-wolf on her back. "Come on, let's get you back to base", She muttered with concern for the young wolf's wellbeing. Rebel wondered what the möbian has seen if anything it the poor thing must be traumatized. "That's wonderful news Rebel!" A voice called back rather loudly, causing the soldier to wince in pain. "Amy, please not so loud", she muttered irritated. "Sorry, sorry, I'll get Knuckles!" Amy replied excitedly. Rebel couldn't blame Amy's excitement, it's not every day you have a survivor, especially one with small scratches and bruises. But she does wish that Amy would take it down a notch. "Let's go home", Rebel thought.

The she-wolf woke up, thinking everything was a hellish nightmare. She looked around the area, realizing that she was in a different room, on a different bed. As if someone punches her in the gut, she finally realized everything happened.

"Give in to your fear, flee, screaming, and I'll let you live", those words sent a shiver down her spine, "Apollo, I hoped you're alright", She thought. She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard footsteps coming towards the room she was in. Her eyes widen, scenarios going through her head. "Looks like you're finally up", said a mature, feminine voice.
