The next 3 weeks concerts all around the States booked us out. Our schedule would be wake up at 5, go to rehearsals, do an interview, rehearsals, lunch, makeup, rehearsals, sound check, makeup, concert, interview or meet and greet, meet fans, sleep and redo. Even though I wasn't the one doing most of that, I still had to organise all the dances and show them what to do on stage and I was given a new job and that was to direct them through the concerts.
That means making sure they knew the roster of songs, Twitter questions and whether or not they could goto the fans while performing. It was chaotic.
Every now and then a free day came along, which also meant we would be travelling. Not every night there was a concert, which meant they had to be practising songs and more interviews.
To be honest, the boys were drained.
I had given them all dance lessons as requested and they have all improved, especially Zayn after being heard from the others he wasn't confident with dancing, I gave him a few extra lessons and he had gotten better.
Today was the final concert in Washington, which also was the final concert in America before we left to Europe for their leg of the tour. Don't ask me why they didn't have Europe for the first part.
"CeCe, tonight we are doing something special, you will, instead of the opening act, be performing instead," Paul informs me, a little late. I nod hesitantly. I have severe stage fright.
"Um...to what song?" I ask him and he shrugs, not really sharing much information with me. I clench my fists, annoyed. I understand he has been under handfuls of stress and being tired on top, but he could at least have me prepared.
"Any that you want, some you are prepared for," He explains and I nod, feeling a lot more at ease. I can't do improve well, I can't really make up my own dance by myself in an hour. I go for the easiest ones which is Earthquake by Labyrinth, On Top Of The World by Imagine Dragons and Teenage Dream by Katy Perry. "You don't have to do the boys tonight with this dance, so you can have the next 3 hours to practise then be dressed and ready for the show,"
Paul then dismisses me and I go to find the boys. As soon as I enter the room I am bombarded with questions from Liam and Niall.
"Are you excited?"
"Sorry we couldn't tell you earlier, this was so exciting!"
"Guys, I'm so scared," I tell them honestly. They both look at me with sympathy and pull me in for hugs. "Why isn't 5SOS doing your opening act?"
"Because they left for recording a new song this morning, they'll be back next week though," Liam explains to me and I wondered why everything was out of place this morning.
"Well I really need to start practising, so I'll see you guys later," They both nod and I bump into Louis and Zayn on the way out. Harry and I haven't spoken a lot lately and I'm really hoping the boys don't notice our lack of contact.
------------
Time flew very fast and before I knew it, I was surrounded by Lou who was doing my make up before she passed me to Cheryl to decide the outfit. It felt weird having things brushed onto your face, but I was excited for the outcome. My dance was themed and they were having backgrounds for these dances.
"Okay I am done, wanna see?" She asks happily and I nod hurriedly, waiting to see what I look like.
I gasp when I see my face in the round mirror. I didn't look bad at all, in fact I would consider myself quite pretty. I had dark wing type figures around my eyes which spread right to my hair line. My lips were a black/grey shade and I looked like a proper dancer with her makeup on.
