Ashsparks Destiny

Prologue

The she-cat woke up in her twolegs nest. She felt three warm bodies lying against her, her kits is what they were. Not wanting to disturb her kits the kittypet got up slowly, gently her gray fur brushed past each one of them but then finally she stood. One of the kits squeaked but took no further action. The she-cat waltzed over to where the twolegs left her food. Her food and water was poured everyday in to holes made of a strange substance. The kittypet didn't question it often though. She scooped a mouthful of the kitty chow and started to chew. She jumped when she heard a small voice, softly whisper; "Mommy."
The she-cat turned around to see one of her kits was wide awake and staring at her. The kit, who was called Violet looked almost just like her mother. Her gray fur resembled her mothers but she had faint black dots all over her back.
"What are you doing up?" The kittypet asked as she swallowed her kitty chow.

"Well, I was asleep and then my brain remembered that today we were going outside, so it woke me," Violet meowed.

Her mother chuckled as Violet climbed out of the soft nest they shared then landed with a big, THUMP! With this thump came the wails of Violets siblings.
"What's going on?" One of them cried
"I want to go back to sleep!" One of them argued.
The kittypet trotted over to her kits nudging them to silence their wailing.
"It's alright my dear kits," meowed the she-cat "but you must stay awake."
"Why?" Asked one of the kits.
"Because we're going outside today!" Violet squealed.
"She's right," her mother nudged all three of her kits towards the door " and we should get going."

The kittypet led her kits through her around a clear surface, then lay herself to the ground and suggested to her kits to play.
"Alright momma!" One of her kits cheered as he ran to the middle of the yard to join his siblings.
The she-cat dozed in sun as her kits played, listening to the rustling of the bushes as her kits ran in and out of them. The birds chirping as her kits chased them. Until it all stopped, just complete silence filled the yard now.
"Kits?" The she-cat yelped as she got to her paws.
"Kits!" She called again, no answer.
The kittypet raced around the yard looking frantically for her kits hoping to find them in a bush or under something. But it was no use, her kits were gone!
