“Alex can you like fuck off? I'm trying to reminisce you five year old.” The Blue Cockatoo said writing down awful pick up lines.
Alex bears a shit-eatting grins while rubbing his dark leather gloves again his chin. This avain demon was Zodiac. A glorified Uncle babysitter at best. He knew his grandfather, Lucifer. The reason why he's down here for… The fifth time? “After you're kids shot you really became a bitch.”
Alex snickered. Emily, Alex's baby sister, screams in mischievous laughter. Eliza slaps Alex in the back of the head. Eliza, Alex's twin sister, looks at him and sighs.
“Be nice to the guy!”
Alex sits back in his chair and crosses his arms with a sour look about him. He opens his mouth to say something about Emily, but stops as he looks Eliza. She sits next to Zodiac. The air was tense and speechless. Eliza felt the need to shatter the silence before Emily started chewing on someone's pants.
"So… Zodiac-"
The bird's crest, (the feathers on top of a Cockatoo's head), raises.
"Please. Call me Zodi." He says.
Eliza sits up in surprise. Her mother called him Zodi as well, but Eliza couldn't be a bother to say that she didn't care. "O-Oh Zodi… What was your family like?"
Zodiac sat back in his seat as he threw his pen on the table. "I haven't even thought of them… To be honest all I've thought about when I formed here… Was Angel. Guy's… Cute."
Alex sits up to say something bitchy, but Eliza raises her hand, eyes on Zodi's crests, making Alex dead silent. Zodiac stirs. "I mean… I'm not mad. I knew I'd die this way. Your grandfather made it easy to decrypt him… When you have the cryptogram…" He says, followed up with a chuckle. "You kids don't have a fucking clue what a cryptogram is. I'll give you a second to Google it." Nothing is said. All that can be heard Is Emily gnawing at Eliza's pants. Eliza picks her up as Emily smiles and drifts into slumber.
Zodiac looks at Emily and talks softer.
"I know what the guy means in his riddles. He told me I could die of be hurt in the real world… Is by the betrayal. It hurt… Far more than a shot normally would.", his face is blank. Emotionless. Had his closest family killing him not phased him!? "I had a wife. A weird Mouse Alien wife. She was a 'Gieeg' and her name was Roza… I had twin girls and a another daughter. I never got to see the other. But the twins… Racheal and…" He looks at the small demon In Eliza's hands. "And Emily… Emily looked up to me a lot. I'm not gonna lie, I probably wasn't a good father. My daughters know about the same combat skills as a Exterminator." He stops talk as the pen rolls off. He clears his throat.
"Pardon me." The man says quickly the shaking in his voice is surely out of eagerness to leave. As he does so Eliza and Alex look at each other. Alex has a new expression one that's usually in his own room, one he hides from everyone. Regret. The tears he normally hid from his sister are in the open. Eliza lays back in her car as she can feel the small hug of a big heart. Emily. She points over at her favorite big brother as she starts tearing up too. Eliza quietly does so as Alex covers his eyes as Emily hugs his deer ear. Alex takes her out of Eliza hands and hugs back softly. Alex opens heart to talk. "I-I… I hate being like-" He's caught off guard as Zodiac's there with dry tears. He hugs the distressed guy. They have nothing and everything to say. Emotions are nothing at the moment. Feelings are all sadness and the expression of just that. Eliza covers her mouth in a unique way. Not out if shock, but care. They care for each other to the 1st circle, but no words would ever be shared if such things, yet it remains.
