As the alarm blared in Sehyoons ear, a little girl was sliding down the hallway to her fathers room. Running and struggling and succeeding to jump up on the bed, four year old lihyun, pounces on her daddy. "Daddy lets goes to school nows!!" She says as she giggles bouncing up and down on her dads stomach as he groans and smiles slightly opening his eyes too peer up at his daughter.
"Good morning Hyunnie, is it time to get you dressed for school?" Sehyoon says with a grin, knowing that his little girl actually just wants a hot chocolate from the cafe.
"I already gots dressed todays by myselfs daddy! Im bigs girl now!!" She says happily. He looks down to see that she is indeed wearing her school uniform.. backwards.
"Awe baby, let me help you fix that. Silly child, you got it from your daddy." He says and she giggles and lightly slaps her daddies chest.
After Sehyoon helps Lihyun get dressed, he gets dress for work himself. Working the day away at his small bakery, Sehyoon makes good money, being that hes the only bakery in his town.
"Lihyun, we still have two hours before kindergarten starts, do you wanna go get hot choco and go to daddies work?" Sehyoon asks his little girl, he knows she loves the bakery. She nods enthusiastically, smiling brightly, her smile being nearly identical to her fathers. "Okay baby lets go" he says reaching down to swoop her up and onto his shoulders. Grabbing his keys, walking out the door, and locking it, they make their way down the streets of the small town they live in.
They turn the corner to the street the cafe they go to almost every morning, only for sehyoon to see a mess. He turns back, praying his daughter didnt see what he just saw. He quickly puts Lihyun down and tells her not to move, handing her the phone so she can color, knowing she loves that and itll keep her busy. He then turns back around the corner, walking up to the car accident that had unfolded in front of him. Being a medical student drop out, he knew enough to try and help. Two cars had collided head on. The impact left blood splattered on one of the windows of the car. He quickly runs up the street to the smaller red car, there is no way to get to the female in the drivers seat. He quickly grabs his pocket knife. He doesnt open it, but instead smashes it into the car window. The glass breaks and he carefully unbuckles the female in the seat, lifting her up and running her to the side walk, were pedestrians stop to watch. He asks a man to call for an ambulance and places the girl gently on the ground.
He proceeds to run back, in the back seat of the car is a baby. He jumps into the car and grabs the baby carrier running around the corner and sits it next to Lihyun, who was still coloring in her princess picture. He tells her to keep watch on the baby, and she nods replying to her daddy that she is a big girl, and that she can do it. He thanks her and runs back to the scene.
"H-help." A small voice calls from inside the second car, a pick up truck which is much more damaged. He runs to the truck and looks inside. "Please, I beg of you. Help me, the door. I-its stuck, I-I'm bleeding, h-help me." Says a males voice.
"Ill pull the door, breathe for me and put pressure on the wound. Don't worry, I'll help you." Sehyoon replies. Sehyoon pulls the door, but it wont budge. He feels a presence next to him and another pair of hands grab the door. He looks down to see a slightly smaller man. "I watched the accident, im here to help. Pull on three." The man says and Sehyoon nods, "one, two, THREE." The man yells, and they pry the door from the car. Sehyoon picks up the man as an Ambulance arrives. "Thank you sir, but step aside and let me take this from here," the man says.
"Of course, here you go. There is a female laying on the side walk from the accident. I pulled her and her daughter from the small red vehicle." He informs the medic and they thank him and put the injured male on a stretchers.
He give the first responder his number, telling him that he will care for the woman's baby, who he sadly watch from where he was standing. Medics placing her in a body bag, she didnt make it. He tells the medic to call that number if they find a family member for the baby. The medic again thanks him, and Sehyoon walks off the scene to his daughter.
