Queenie set up her bag in the Forbidden Forest. Of course, it was forbidden for a reason.

The creatures in the Forbidden Forest were mythical, and most of them were dangerous. The Centaur herd in the forest didn't allow any humans inside of their territory, but they were less likely to kill anyone under their fifth year. Otherwise, you might end up with a warning if you're lucky. If not, the Centaurs don't like dead carcasses on their land, so they would probably dump you somewhere horrible.

There were a bunch of other dangerous animals too, but Queenie didn't pay attention to that. She was worried about what was in her bag, rather than what was around her.

Queenie pulled out her blanket and put a small creature on it. It looked like a baby orangutan at first, but it had silky white hair on it. When the small creature opened its eyes, you could see that they were all black, with only gold irises showing.

Queenie smiled at the small creature. "Hello, Blitz. How are you today?"

The little white creature giggled, mumbling something. Queenie shook her head and pointed to her mouth before pointing to her ears. Blitz always preferred it when she used motions instead of words.

"Fine," he said. Now, hardly anyone would be able to understand a creature like Blitz was, but Queenie was quite rare in the creature department.

"Good. Where's Tempest?" she asked, looking around. Blitz made an odd sound, and a light rustling came from behind the two, making Queenie spin around.

Queenie smiled at the air, "Nice to see you, Tempest. You too, Wisp. How are you doing today?"

The air shimmered for a second before revealing another ape-like creature that looked like the larger version of Blitz. The two creatures ran forward and nuzzled each other, making Queenie smile before she turned back to where the invisible creature was, revealing a small white dragon.

The dragon itself had a sparkly sheen and pearly blue and purple eyes that had no pupil. It had silver claws and light blue ridges that went along it's back.

"Hello, Tempest," Queenie said as she went to scoop up the small dragon. The dragon creeled at Queenie, making her giggle.

Queenie put Tempest on the ground and changed into Frost, her snow leopard form. Tempest whistled happily, nuzzling the neck of her adopted mother's fur.

Frost purred, laying down and grabbing her bag in her jaws, opening it and pulling out a large container of brandy and chicken blood. She licked the head of the dragon that had curled up next to her belly before pushing the container to Tempest, who lapped at the drink thirstily.

Frost then pulled out a bottle of milk, putting her paws on it and letting the fire in her paws sink into the bottle without melting it.

She pushed the bottle in front of Tempest, who switched and drank the entire bottle. There was plenty of the brandy mix left, and Frost pushed it away as Tempest nuzzled further into her fur, falling asleep.

Tempest was an Antipodean Opaleye dragon whose egg was being sold in the black market. Queenie took the egg from the people that were thinking about breaking it, just to see if the dragon was inside of it as the egg hadn't hatched yet.

About a week after Queenie took the egg, it hatched. Queenie played with the dragon and brought her to her secret sanctuary in the forest that no one but the centaurs and the creatures that lived in it knew about.

Queenie knew the responsibilities that came with raising a dragon. She had raised one in her third year, even though she had not had the dragon hatch with her from birth, the creature was less than a month old, and his wing and tail had been broken, so he couldn't fly.

The Romanian Longhorn hadn't let anyone but animals close, so Frost came and helped it to her sanctuary. From there, Queenie ended up partially raising the dragon before it flew back to its home four months later.

Last year, Queenie had come across a Demiguise. That Demiguise had her hair torn out to be made into an invisibility cloak, but they hadn't killed her because they needed more to make the cloak. She had managed to get away, and Queenie found the poor thing passed out. She nursed it back to health, and the creature became a permanent member and helper of Queenie's sanctuary.

At Queenie's home, two Demiguises' had found her. It was a mother with her baby, and the mother was dying. She had heard about Queenie and trusted her, giving Queenie the baby after naming it, and leaving. A week later, Queenie had found her dead body with markings of poachers that had skinned her for her hair.

Wisp and Blitz became like siblings to Queenie, but she thought that there was something a bit more between them. Currently, Queenie had to keep Blitz with her since he wouldn't mature and get larger for another few days or so, and though Queenie's sanctuary was nice and filled with amazing creatures, they were still wild and weren't fans of the tiny creature.

"Wisp, Blitz, can you two take Tempests' feed back to the sanctuary?" Frost meowed, still purring so not to wake the little dragon next to her.

"Okay, Queenie!" both of the white creatures called, taking the food to her secret area.

Frost smiled. She knew that once both of the Demiguises' were mature, they would probably become a mated pair, which meant more babies, which meant more work for her. She shook her head. What was she getting herself into?
