Chapter 18

NORMAL POV

Lucy woke up with something warm cuddled up to her. She was a bit shocked thinking it was Natsu but she realized it was Sting. She calmed down. He was snoring softly. I shouldn't wake him... Lucy thought. She somehow got out of his death grip on her. She stretched and yawned. I don't feel like going to the guild... I'll go shower. She then walked to the bathroom and turned the water on. She took a quick shower then got out and changed. Sting had just woken up and was sitting on the bed yawning.

"Oh your up." Lucy said.

"You showered?! How come you didn't wake me up!? We could have showered together..." He mumbled the last part but Lucy still heard it.

"No we could not have!" She said blushing. She started to pout.

"Hpmf... I'm going to go make breakfast..."

"Oh! Yay! Food!" Sting said jumping out of bed and coming to the couch.

"When's it going to be ready?!" He said excitedly.

"I haven't even started it will be a little while!" Lucy said.

"Hmmmm...." Sting said pouting.

"You could help and it would go faster.." Lucy said smiling thinking how adorable Sting is when he pouts. He grinned brightly.

"Ok! What do I do?" He said jumping up and going beside Lucy.

"Hmm... Well what do you want?" Lucy asked.

"Hmm... Bacon! And... Hash browns! And... Waffles!" He said.

"Ok... Get out the waffle iron from that cupboard." Lucy said pointing to a cupboard. Sting quickly got out the iron and set on the counter.

"Ok now plug it in and turn it on so it can heat up." Lucy said getting out potatoes. Sting did as he was told and then looked at Lucy like what to do next.

"Okay... Now get a pan out of the same cupboard and put some oil in it and turn the burner on medium." Lucy asked.

"I get to use the stove!" Sting said excitedly.

"Don't set fire to the house!"

"Okay! I won't!" Sting said smiling.

He got out the pan and put a little bit of oil in the pan then he turned the stove on to HIGH. Lucy was grading potatoes not paying any attention. She started to smell smoke that brought her out of her potato grading. She looked over and the stove was on fire.

"WHAAA! ST-STING WHAT DID YOU DO!" Lucy screamed while trying to put it out. Sting was playing with the spices and didn't even realize anything until Lucy screamed, he then got into a fighting stance until he realized it was him that caused the problem, he then got into a defensive stance.

"GOMEN LUCY!" Sting said as Lucy had gotten salt and poured it on the fire, putting it out.

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU!?!" Lucy yelled at him. Sting gave her the puppy dog eyes.

"*sigh*... If only I could stay mad at you..." Lucy said crossing her arms and pouting. Sting grinned.

"Mmm... That's because you love me..." Sting said coming up to Lucy and wrapping his arms around her and resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Mm... Maybe..." She said teasing him.

"Maybe!? That's a lame answer.." Sting said.

"Yeah... I know..." Lucy said giggling.
