Malibu, 1998

3rd Person POV

On a cold winters night in Malibu Ava was born and the same night she was taken out of hospital by her mother who will remain nameless and was taken to The Tony and Bailey Stark's home.

She was left on the door step as her mother saw no one was home keeping her face away from the camera as she placed a kiss on the young child's head before whispering "be safe my child, your destiny awaits" and once that was said she placed the young child down along with a letter for Tony Stark before making a run for it.

Tony and Bailey was coming back home with there driver Happy Hogan and when they saw something at there front door "Tony is that" Bailey started but didn't know how to finish but they managed to get out of the car.

They both there way to the door before bending down and saw a bundle of blankets in a basket and once he pulled them back he saw two things a baby and a letter.

Tony and Bailey were both shocked to see a baby on there front doorstep now both being billionaires they have seen a lot of things but this was new so Tony grabbed the letter preparing for the worst while Bailey tended to the baby

Dear Mr Stark,

You don't know me or this child but I was unfit to take care of her and I wanted to her to have the best life possible.

She was only born today and her name is Ava no last name but in need of one.

I know this may seem odd but please I beg you give this child a home and I know it may seem like a lot to ask for and something you might not be completely ready for but maybe allow this child to show you a different perspective on life.

The moment I looked into her eyes I knew there was something special about her so I hope get the same opportunity to see that in her.

As I said this is not something I am forcing you to do I just want her to have to have a good life and I think you may be her best shot at one because I know I can not provide for her what you can.

Tony looked at the child again and after reading the letter he knew who ever wrote the letter was right even just looking in the this little girls eyes he knew she was special and that he had to take her in.

"Mr Stark, what is it" Happy asked coming up shocked to see the child "it appears to be a child her parent wanted her to have a better life" Tony said before handing the letter to Hogan allowing him to give it a read.

"Tony what are we going to do we can't let her leave can we?" Bailey asked holding the baby close to her as a 13 year old forming a bond with the new born baby already.

"What are you going to do" Hogan asked Tony referring to the letter and the child and Tony stared at the child weighing his option he could keep the child and raise her like her parents wanted or he could send her off to the next orphanage allowing her to get adopted by some other parents. 

"Ava Stark has a nice ring to it doesn't it" Tony whispered causing Bailey to grin holding the baby closer before looking at Bailey and Ava, Tony now had a bigger responsibility now, no only did he have his 13 year old sister but her had this new born baby as well.

Ava's eyes were now opened looking at the man and the girl holding her and was fascinated by the two billionaires as Tony held his hand out near her face almost scared to touch her.

Ava looked at Tony's hand before using her tiny hand to grab onto one of his fingers and in that moment a bond was made between man and child just as well between the young teenager and child.

Tony and Bailey vowed to keep this child as safe as possible and to treat her as there own no matter what.

If only any of them new what was to come in the next 25 years of there life's.

Author's Note

Alright this is the first chapter is pretty much out Ava, Bailey and Tony meet and yes she was adopted, this will play a part later on in the story!

This first section will be about 10 or so chapters and just how Ava and Bailey grew up to the age if 12 and 24 to where Iron Man begins!

Also the reason I said 25 years for you hardcore Marvel fans is that Endgame happens in the year 2023 and Ava came into the Stark's life in 1998 which is exactly 25 years!!
