*Kring Kring Kring*
*Kring Kring Kring*I slapped the irritating buzzing shit in my table that woke me up. I lazily hugged my pillow tightly as I begun to realize what'd the event for today.
Staring blankly at the ceiling while trying to compose my thoughts.
Oh! Today's gonna be my first year in college!
I sound really excited but no I am not.
"Oh shit!" I hastily get up and run to take a shower. After shower, I pulled out my white silky skirt and finally wear my floral tank top into my walk-in grand closet. Finally making my way to put make up. NYU can allow this pretty mini skirt of mine for sure.
Making my way dowstairs, I heard a monotone in the kitchen so I went there while flipping my newly ironed blonde hair. "You're up early, Reverie." I shoot a death glare into my cocky cousin Caleb who is sitting in our counter table. I told him not to call me that many times now.
"Isn't obvious?" I asked then he chuckled before taking a bite in his banana. "And don't call me Reverie." I snapped at him. I sat across him then I realize that he's got new bruises in his left cheek. "Sure thing, Clarin."
"You got in a fight?" I raised my eye brow at him because I am sick of his lame annoying lines in the morning, like calling me names and telling me I gained weight, such a tease. Anyway, his face became quite different because of his bruises and band aids. I'm not concerned or some cringe shit but I will pity him if girls wouldn't like him anymore. He's a damn playboy after all.
"Isn't obvious?" He mimicked my voice awhile ago with a high pitched tone so I kick his toes under the table. I heard him yelp.
"You got injured?" I dramatically gave him my most worried expression. I mean it this time around, I might hate him for always annoying me but I don't want him dead.
"No, what the fuck?" I sighed in relief then look around.
"Where's mom?" I didn't see her making her coffee this morning. He shrugged then I rolled my eyes at him. Mom doesn't usually go out and I'm not this usually paranoid too.
What the hell?
"I just went in just right before you came down. I didn't see her." He says, tossing the banana in the trash can.
Where would she go early in the morning? She said she'll be driving me to school since my car isn't fixed yet
"Why'd you come here anyway?" I'm not surprised to see him today, but when he does. He probably got in trouble again.
"Hang out with my cousin?" He said.
"Dumbass." I hissed. Pouring my cereals into the bowl and mixed it with the milk.
"Today's the start of boring classes." I said then scoop a spoon-full cereals.
"Yeah." He agreed with me. Caleb and I were buddies. He used to play girly stuff with me in England, our hometown. We don't really hate school because we suck on academics. Hell, no! I am the smartest among the class and still am.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "You aren't going to school?" I asked him. He's at fourth year this year. He should be doing great this time and stop fooling around.
I chewed and finished my breakfast.
"I'm going."
"We should get going then. Just drive me to school since mom isn't around." I told him then we both stood up. "Alright then, I'll wait you outside." Said him making his way out. I put my bowl into the sink and hastily brush my teeth.
